Prague Center Alex Pearson excited for second Chance

Recommended Posts

With the season beginning in a few days, we are going to take a deeper look into the new expansion teams. The DC Dragons went for older, more experienced players to build a quik contender around, While the Prague Phantoms ended up going a different route and selected a number of last seasons VHLM All stars. They picked up big young names such as Erik Draven, Willie Dredge, wolf Stansson Jr, Seabass Perrin and 2 players who were neck and neck for the scoring title most of the season, Zeno Miniti And Alex Pearson.

”We has kind of a friendly rivalry going, I’d always check Lynx games to see how many points he’d get so I could try and keep up. Somewhere along the way I kinda hit a slump and Zeno kinda took off”

Miniti Finished with the VHLM lead in points in goals, while Pearson finished 3rd in goals and 5th in Points.

”We we’re both in Helsinki’s system so we kinda met through training camp, he’s a really good guy, I’m glad he’s gonna be on this team. I kinda felt like I’d never get a really true chance to prove myself in Helsinki because they were such a good deep team, I’m glad to be a Phantom!”

Pearson is slotted to play in the top 6, One thing useful about him is he can play either wing as he spend most of His college hockey career player Right Wing. If the Phantoms were to put together a line of

Pearson-Miniti-Draven it could very well be an extremely Fast and talented line. All 3 players are known for blinding speed and ability to make plays while using it. One thing that is extremely undervalued in today’s VHL. While the Phantoms aren’t expected to make the playoffs (Only Don Draper,Blake Laughton and Mountain thunderfist are the only non rookies, and Draper and Laughton are both sophomores. If they Manage to form some Chemisty it could lead the phantoms to a sneak into the playoffs. And who knows, maybe there the players youth and lack of mileage on them could be extremely valuable and they could do some damage in the playoffs. Victory is much sweeter when you’re an underdog.
