GM Peace seen biting nails during SO against Minnesota.

SASKATOON, SASKATCHEWAN -- The Saskatoon Wild have been a juggernaut for the majority of the season, but a few members of the Saskatoon Wild have noticed that the Minnesota Storm have been matching up remarkably well against their current lines after Saskatoon's blowout 7-2 victory over the Storm in game 215. Recently, the Storm managed to keep the Saskatoon offense at bay after climbing to a five - two lead in game 241 against the Storm, a game where the Storm stormed back to nearly tie the game in the third - it ended 5-4 for the Wild, but a scare for the top team in the league none-the-less.

Since then, in over four periods of play against the Storm, Saskatoon has been held to just two goals. While the Wild won their next match against the Storm, it was done so in a shootout, and it certainly has the players feeling some anxiety. GM Peace, however, is confident in his team and remains steadfast in their goal to tie Calgary's season one record of 69 wins. It would be poetic, really, getting sixty nine wins in season sixty nine.

"We might adjust the lines a little next time we face Minnesota, but there's no need to dismantle something that is working at the moment. It's unlikely we'll go the rest of the season without a defeat, it's highly unlikely - inevitable, even, but if the team we do finally lose to is Minnesota then I think we owe them an applaud. The team that stopped the Modern Warfare 3 kill streak!" Peace said.
