Renomitsu 934
Riga, Latvia - The truth is finally out. After a sudden, unexpected retirement from Riga Reign star Elias Dahlberg @Nykonax, a recent small-group, off-the-grid interview session revealed evidence that the new retiree was not happy with teammate Apollo Hackett, who was found to have an unusual aspect to his passing. In what some may consider a lapse of judgment, the Swede called out his former (really, current) teammate. It's unclear how this will affect Riga's team chemistry, as the Latvian team currently sits second in the VHL standings, with Dahlberg/Hackett combo one of the successful parts of their run in the league to this point. "You know, I really don't know what to say," Hackett said at a recent presser, sitting alone and dejected with a poorly-scrawled 'dAhLbeRg' on a tear-stained piece of paper propped up in front of the chair next to him, "this is a lot of change in just over one season, really, but I'm aware it's a natural part of the process. I just... I just didn't expect it to be because of something I was trying to improve." "For now, I'll enjoy the time I have left with Dogbird, and when the season ends we'll all have to move on. That's just the way professional sports works. I just hope we can make his final season a worthwhile one."
