Unsung Heroes: Welfare Edition

For my unsung hero article, I want to make a big shoutout to all my VHL brothers and sisters who, quite simply, do the minimum every week to be considered active. I’m talking about my welfare + practice facility only crowd. This may sound like I’m being sarcastic but I really mean it. I think that those people form a silent backbone to the league, and due to their relatively low TPE totals and relatively poor statistics, they quite literally never get talked about. This may sound preachy, but without those league members the VHL would be a much less interesting place. The numbers wouldn’t be anywhere near enough to sustain the league as a whole, and numerous expansions would have been completely impossible. Of course, I’m not exactly able to name such a huge list of players as part of this. Specifically there are a few guys on the Moscow roster that are active in the LR and just put in their 5 points every week, and I am really grateful that they are there! It makes the overall VHL run a lot smoother, so for that, I thank you all!
