Davos will have to use a 1st round pick to acquire this prospect - however, this is well worth the price of admission. Glade Jr. is a bonafide franchise cornerstone defenseman. He can not only skate like the wind and defend against any of the other top end prospects but he can put up monster points; proven by his 129 point season. Glade Jr. found himself on Ottawa with the 12th pick, and after that @Acydburn found Risteneen in the 3rd round. These two top prospects pulled Ottawa into a playoff position. This is a deep draft for defensemen with both Omdahl and Encarnacion likely being top three picks as defensemen; but don't sleep on Shawn Glade Jr., he could very well come out of this draft as the most successful defensemen.
