S70 Prospect Card - Shawn Glade Jr

Shawn Glade Jr. expects to fall into Davos Dynamo lap, as a GM Rule player. Davos will have to use a 1st round pick to acquire this prospect - however, this is well worth the price of admission. Glade Jr. is a bonafide franchise cornerstone defenseman. He can not only skate like the wind and defend against any of the other top end prospects but he can put up monster points; proven by his 129 point season. Glade Jr. found himself on Ottawa with the 12th pick, and after that @Acydburn found Risteneen in the 3rd round. These two top prospects pulled Ottawa into a playoff position. This is a deep draft for defensemen with both Omdahl and Encarnacion likely being top three picks as defensemen; but don't sleep on Shawn Glade Jr., he could very well come out of this draft as the most successful defensemen. Our projections put this prospect at the top tier end of the spectrum and should be a player who find himself on top of the scoring standings for defensemen in 4-5 seasons.
