Scott Greene Looks to Become Bears Captain

Scott Greene of the Seattle Bears has recently made some comments stating that he would like to become the team’s captain. Greene is a skilled player, but on a team of equally skilled and more skilled players, would it make sense for the Bears to put someone like him in that position? We asked Greene what he thought.

"Well, we don't officially have a captain,” said Greene.  “We need somebody to rally the troops and keep them focused and motivated. I'd like to think I could do that. This is an amazing team, and I think I could really represent this organization well as it's captain, both on and off of the ice."

There’s no doubt that he could have a positive impact, but the Bears have gotten by fine so far as a team. Perhaps the team will maintain the status-quo. We will follow this story as it develops.
