This is fonziGG and a quick update on Malmo from Michael Johnson.

 

"You know, we've been improving game by game. We needed to slowly build up with our young members of the team, ready to start taking the step up. They've been working extremely hard in practices, and I've been making sure that I take some extra time on the ice with them so they can work their shot on a more senior VHL goalie. Anything that I can personally do, I will do for these guys cause they're young and deserve the chance to grow. I see them in the gym early and working extra hard at practice."

 

"The culture of the team has been impressive considering we've been dropping games. I've taken it upon my shoulders to whip this team back into its glorious self, and every single person on the team has bucked up their ideas to push back into a net positive season. They're the first ones to know that things need to change and they need to change as soon as possible. We've been doing a lot more reviews after practices at each other's houses and working on the mental side of our game."
