VinCal 112
Nineteen year old Vin Calia, was born and raised in Long Island, New York, where he was All County in both hockey and baseball in high school. He spent this last season on the ice at Quinnipiac University before signing with the Rush. You can expect a good work ethic out of Calia with the drive to improve his game. Good hands, good stickhandling with a knack to finding the back of the net. Shoots lefthanded and skates well with his defensive game improving with experience. Calia's physical game is a work in progress and would be considered his only weakness. He has the size and frame to play an aggressive forechecking style and will have to if he wants a taste of the VHL and make an impact in his current league, the VHLM. With experience, good coaching, a terrific work and drive to succeed, Vin Calia has the potential for a long career in the Victory Hockey League.
