Telkster 550
Moscow finished what they started and beat this so called "3-1 curse" with a 3-2 victory over Riga in game 5. Jet Jaguar seems to be the perfectly suited hero as he scored the game winner. the game was tipped a bit towards Moscow in the shots department, as they out-shot Riga 42-24. It definitely seemed to be a battle of the goalies, as Raymond Bernard finished the game with a 9.17 save%. Riga goaltender Finn Davison did his best to keep his team in the series, and did a great job of that today, as he posted a .929 save%. He saved 39 of the 42 shots going his way. Jet Jaguar and Randoms are both leading the league for the Menace in points with 14 a piece. The north american side had Seattle win in game 5 to close the gap to a 3-2 series lead in favor of Calgary. Its Moscow's turn to wait now as they see which opponent they will face in the meantime.
