Devise 4,475
INDEX Welp, now that the draft is underway and we are almost completed a first round of the user created draft I figured I'd go ahead and reveal what the randomizer gave us for our Real Life/NHL player pool. The players were sorted by position and then randomly drawn into the remaining slots that we required which were; 24 Centers, 27 Right Wings, 23 Left Wings, 44 Defense, 10 Goalies. Good for 128 players and 16 draft rounds. It's important to note, this was the entire player pool of not just the NHL, but also some of the prospects, free agents, and AHL level players. So don't expect "just" big names. All in all it wound up being a pretty balanced list of players. The players are listed in order of how they came out in the randomizer, by position. Their OVR is in brackets beside their name. You can look at the players individual attributes inside the sim, which can be found in the Index which I have also put at the top of this post. Without further adieu, here is the real life players that will be joining us for the inaugural season of the NHLVE! Center1. Carter Camper (61)2. Matt Cullen (68)3. Jakob Forsbacka Karlsson (59)4. Devise 4,475
Haha, what a weird list everyone. I'm honestly curious if McDavid goes 1oa or if Jones/Elliot stand a chance at going above him. Jubis

Kinda nice lol Yeah, McDavid, Kucherov, Tarasekno, Benn, Oshie, there are some names. Those goalies could end up mattering huge too. The fact that there is some 50-60 OVR type players though I think means we'll see some of our User Created guys on second and first lines. That should be interesting, and I think all in all this has given us a pretty good mix of varied user types to actually get something decent out of a simulation, just from a testing perspective. I'm going to be most interested to see how endurance matters for minutes, and how the overall scoring and goalie stuff are up. I've long been an arguing that Endurance and Dur as stats is supposed to be enabled, and that we've only gotten away with it for so many seasons due to how small our roster sizes were. There was only ever really just enough players for everyone to be able to succeed for such a long time, that put into an era where we have too many players who have to succeed, we finally have problems. We'll see though.
