Hello everyone, and welcome back to another draft profiles article. I have a bit of an announcement, though it's not anything crazy.

As some of you may know, I did a video last season as a draft promo that was pretty well received, and I've decided I'd like to make a second one for this season's draft class. It's already in the works, and you can expect it close to the draft. Nothing else, just figured I'd let you guys know. Anyways, let's get into the actual article.

  • 17 players were created last week.

  • Alex Letang earned the most TPE in the draft class for the second consecutive week, with 25.

RISER OF THE WEEK

Miss_TeamBar_u9NDfdA.png Michael Mac - RW - 84 TPE

Now, it is pretty early to cover Michael Mac while he's in just his third week since creating, but all the risers this week are newer players, so I chose him because he seems to be the most promising of the bunch so far. He has started off his career with two straight 20 TPE weeks, and has 14 so far this week. To date, he has earned every possible capped TPE as well, which is a very promising sign. With such a small sample size, he will still have to prove that he will stay consistent over time, though he has done everything right so far. In terms of play style, he has the tools of a shoot-first winger, yet his playmaking has prevailed up to this point, with his assist total doubling his goals. I see a high upside pick here as of right now, and time will only tell if that narrative stays alive.

  • SS Hornet became the first S72 player to reach max TPA in the VHLM last week, with 250.

  • DeFenz Mann and Alex Letang hit 100 TPE last week.

ACHIEVEMENT  CENTRE’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LVA_bar.png SS Hornet - C - 274 TPE

The first player to hit the VHLM's TPA limit of 250 among all S72 players, SS Hornet is a can't-miss prospect who I have ranked as the top player in this draft. The young Canadian has a good scoring forward build that will only get better once he is free to use the TPE that he currently has banked. He hasn't missed one banked TPE in eight weeks now, and has never had below 15 TPE in any of those weeks. McWolf is an active member in multiple sim leagues, and is a VHLM GM here. The only negative I can find here is that he seems to be trending down in terms of stats right now, though that can all turn around with a couple of good sims. This is undoubtedly a superstar in the making, and whoever lands him in the draft will be jumping with joy.

I broke my build. Thanks for the shoutout, though!
