Well in yet another week there is to be another controversy. With a bunch of the people calling for (mainly VHLM) AGM's to be recognised as an official job position by the BoG/commissioners.

Looking around the league I don't see a reason to change what we have right now. All AGM's are used in a different way depending on the GM and I just don't see a way for the GM's to come to a unanimous decision on what they should and shouldn't do for the GM's. I also side with the Best people here but socially distanced who mostly see VHL AGM's as unnecessary.

With that said I do believe VHLM has a place for AGM's as they are often integral in the locker room as one GM can only be on to help new players so much and for so long.

As for VHL, they don't need an official role in my opinion. They can be used but to me they don't need to be official (though neither position does)

Yeah, I don't see much wrong with the "pay split" option we have now. AGMs already are allowed into the same places that GMs are, and if the GM deems that they do enough with the team to warrant pay, they can split 1-1 to make sure they're compensated for their time.

Seems like AGMs are a very case-by-case basis, so a case-by-case payment system fits well.

Honestly this has been something I have been coming around to as well. Maybe an increase in pay for GM's could lead to more flexibility for this too? A lot easier to make splitting pay matter if it is 4 to 2-2 rather than 2 to 1-1.  Idk :)
