Greg_Di 1,022
Eagles hasn't felt this before...aches and pains all over his body as he prepares for another season. He has heard about this from the vets and other players that have gone through this. They call it "depreciation" and it's when your body slowly starts to wear out from the constant play and as it ages. Eagles didn't believe the vets at first but in his first season into depreciation he now believes it. It's harder now to get up for the morning practices, it now takes a longer time in the ice bath after practice and you no longer can go out and party after games as you need to rest. When the depreciation hits you know that you don't have that much time left in the league. Eagles knows he only has a a few seasons left so if he wants to leave a mark on the league, he is going to do something extraordinary over the next few seasons with a body that seems to be breaking down at a higher pace each season. All he wants is another cup and the upcoming seasons could be the last window of opportunity for Eagles and Riga to achieve this Patrik Tallinder, Rayzor_7 and ColeMrtz 3 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/82308-a-different-type-of-off-season/ Share on other sites
