Depreciation Fact

It is known that most players when they hit the ages of depreciation that they go and purchase the expensive depreciation fighters to make it easier to stay on top of their game. However there is one little fact that I have found. To me this was actually quite the shock as looking at it on paper doesn't make sense and the math is to complicated to do in my head unfortunately.

 

So you may be reading this and asking what the secret is, that secret is that the Jaromir Jagr can actually be a better choice to fight against depreciation than the "Still Kicking" or "Old But Not Forgotten" items. 

 

I will use me as an example your mileage may vary but these are the results for my player Berocka Sundqvist at his current build.

 

My build =

Now as we can see that the "Still Kicking" amount will reduce from 5% to 4% and the "Old But Not Forgotten" will reduce the amount from 7% to 5%. This is all visible using the TPA tool and the player store. Now the interesting part the "Jaromir Jagr" will stop one attribute from depreciating at all now if we look at my build if we apply this on SK or DF it will save me 48 TPE in my 7th season and 64 TPE in my 8th season. Now if we look what "Still Kicking" will save it is 203 - 165 and for people who can do mental math know that the answer is 38 and those who can't do it in their head now know. So just to spell it out that 48 TPE > 38 TPE meaning for $1,000,000 less I can save 10 TPE more. Now if only I could withdraw that $1,000,000 and afford a house.

 

So we might think that is where the magic stops but know the reduction for me for "Old But Not Forgotten" is only 60 TPE which is infact less than 64 TPE I would save with the "Jaromir Jagr" and it also saves me $5,000,000 which when you combine with the $1,000,000 I saved prior I almost have enough for another "Jaromir Jagr"

 

So there you have it folks go and investigate into your own players and create a plan. It might just save you a lot of TPE!

You can’t buy 2 Jagr’s in one season though.

 

Also this all depends highly on the amount of TPE a person is losing.

Yeah I know you can't buy two, it was mainly a joke in the article that it's not really worth it to buy the straight fighters. 

 

Yeah it depends greatly on how much tpe you have applied and also what your max skills are at.

Keep in mind the portal has a TPA Tool that can help immensely when trying to look at depreciation related things.
