Sharkstrong 166
A small humanoid bird was born on a bare hill just outside the quaint seaside town of Qaqortoq in 2051, and locals were quick to point him out as a weirdo. Some even tried to hunt it to add it to the broth, but it is logical, there were not many birds of its size at that time and the ostriches had long since become extinct. The children did not take long to give it a name, based on an ancient relic from the 20th century, very far from the memory of those people. Dungeons and Dragons was called the book, and Grekkark Gyrfalcon the "boy." Gyrfalcon soon became fond of sports, since his future in the studies was basically null. Fishing and hunting with his bare hands were his strengths. He seemed to have a gift for that, a natural talent. Finally, one winter day, the coach of the local hockey team brought him down to train with the team, and there he got his first experience with hockey. It was incredibly easy for him. The fast and powerful flutters allowed him to reach a speed and agility that no one could match. Sharp turns were his specialty, he could change direction in a fraction of a second. Grekkark was assigned to the goal, but always had problems with his temperament. It was never wise for rivals to even dare try to score on him. He had a wild, untamed gene that he couldn't repress. And one day, when the Aaracockra was only 7 years old, it happened. He stabbed the rival coach when he implied that Qaqortoq's team was breaking the rules by allowing him to play. He approached the coach stealthy, while he argued with the referee, and slashed him from behind. Natural 20. He killed him on the spot. They locked him in a maximum security prison. They didn’t care about his age or his nature. He was considered a threat to humanity, and in a way, he was. They never let him participate in any team sport or have any relationship with other prisoners, but it didn’t matter. Grekkark had lost interest in humans. He devoted himself to watching time pass and growing. And it grew a lot. He became huge, incredibly strong and agile. He learned to fly, to the dislike of the warden, but he never escaped. He was finally released into the mountains, like a wild animal, at the age of 26. However, he was still young and capable. Not everything was lost. A VHLM coach, who had followed his story, found him and recruited him to play in Saskatoon, and there Gyrfalcon went to follow his story as a Wild goalkeeper. The question is, Will he be able to avoid conflict? I had a fancy html ready, but I couldn't load it here, so plain text it is Edited May 27, 2020 by Sharkstrong animal74, Gustav and McWolf 2 1 Link to comment https://vhlforum.com/topic/83174-grekkark-gyrfalcon-junior-review/ Share on other sites
