With the last two MS' I have done about the goals and assists, I will now turn my attention to the points. This is what everyone strives for; they want to be the guy who has the most points in an entire league. Do you know how great that feels? I don't know how it feels personally but I might at the end of Season 38 as Dimothenis Vlasis could possibly finish with the most points in the VHLM.

Scotty On His Last Game Ever in the VHL.

The current record holder for most points in a season is Scotty Campbell. He is definitely the greatest ever in history of the VHL. He may not have had many seasons where his assists were among the leaders but he did one thing and that was score goals. Every one of his seasons he had 7 of the top 25 spots all-time in goals. That in itself is a record. Scotty Campbell has records in records.

In Season 5, Scotty Campbell had the most remarkable season that anyone has ever seen. In this season he was the closest to 200 points in the VHL as anyone in its history. He recorded 190 points in Season 5. If we look back at this remarkable season, he scored 89 goals which is a record for most goals in a season and he recorded 101 assists which is good enough for 5th all-time in assists. I guess 1+5=1? Scotty also holds down the number 2, 5, 11 and 20 spots. You may not think that is impressive because 11 and 20 are pretty low compared to the 1, 2 and 5 he holds, than you are wrong. He has held these spots despite these happening around 30+ sim years ago. In Season 4, Scotty recorded 174 points which is good enough for 2nd. In the 5, 11 and 20 spots Scotty put up 161 points, 155 points and 146 points respectively.

Brett always had that game face on at all times.

In Season 1, Brett Slobodzian had the most storied season of his career. He put up 79 goals which is good enough for 3rd all-time and 92 assists good enough for 16th all-time. That equals 171 points for those of you counting at home. I think the most interesting thing about this is that he did this in Season 1. That is Season 1 people, we are now currently in Season 38. This just shows us how much more the league has grown and has more parity, but come on, 37 seasons and no one has topped Brett? Can we also just take a minute here and think of what could have been? What if Brett never had his accident and wasn't forced to retire early? Can we imagine what the point’s totals would have been? I'm almost positive that they would rival the great Scotty Campbell. In my opinion, Scotty Campbell and Brett Slobodzian mirror what Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux are in the NHL. One is the greatest of all time and one could have been if it weren't for injuries.

Alex McNeil flourished as Scotty Campbell's winger

The last person I will talk about is Alex McNeil. In Season 5, he and Campbell formed one of the most incredible duos of all-time. Alex also had his best season in Season 5 much like Campbell. In Season 5, Alex put up 162 points which is good enough for 5th all-time. In this season he put up 68 goals which is good enough for 20th all-time and 94 assists which is good enough for 15th all-time. Like I said before, this was his peak as doesn't appear on the list again like Scotty does. However, I wish I could have one magical season where I can get into the top 5 all-time in points in a single season. Of course, this is to say that Alex McNeil had just one great season, he had many very good seasons but he didn't replicate the magic he had in Season 5.

The Final List goes as:

1. :sea: Scotty Campbell ~ Season 5 - 190 Points

2. :sea: Scotty Campbell ~ Season 4 - 174 Points

3. :cal: Brett Slobodzian ~ Season 1 - 171 Points

:cal: - Calgary Wranglers ~ 5/25 Spots

:nya: - New York Americans ~ 0/25 Spots

:que: - Quebec City Meute ~ 0/25 Spots

:sea: - Seattle Bears ~ 4/25 Spots

:tor: - Toronto Legion ~ 2/25 Spots

:col: - Cologne Express ~ 0/25 Spots

:dav: - HC Davos Dynamo ~ 1/25 Spots

:hel: - Helsinki TItans ~ 5/25 Spots

:rig: - Riga Reign ~ 3/25 Spots

:vas: - Vasteras Iron Eagles ~ 5/25

It is always very interesting to see that without much team success, the Vasteras Iron Eagles always seem to have players contribute to a lot of individual success with being tied for 1st with Calgary for having the most players on the list. Again, we see that the New York Americans have NO players in their history in the top 25 all-time points in a single season.

743 words. I have to say, I definitely enjoyed this article more than the other ones in this series. It seems like you cut this one down a bit, so there wasn't as much filler to read through. Overall it was a good read and you obviously did your homework.

Grammar: 2/2

Much better. Still need to watch your comma usage, as there we some like the ones below that I didn't bother putting down, but overall it was a big improvement and no need for a deduction here.

He has held these spots despite these happening around 30+ sim years ago = He has held these spots for 30+ seasons.

and 20 spots = and 20 spots,

92 assists = 92 assists,

Appearance: 1/1

Looks good.
