Julian Borwinn was the first major piece added to the rebuilding Helsinki Titans in the S63 draft. Helsinki's GM (Quik) took a chance on a newcomer to the league with the 3rd overall selection. The risk would pay off as Borwinn took to the league like a seasoned vet. The S63 draft for Helsinki was a home-run which allowed the Titans to quickly regain ground on the top teams in the league en route to their eventual Continental Cup victory in season 66.

S63: 72 GP | 42 G | 42 A | 84 P | -10 | 483 Shots | 18 PIM | 69 Hits | 71 SB | 8 GW | 10 PPG | 1 SHG

The Titans were a long-shot to make the playoffs in S63, but the development of their future core was put on display for the world to see. Julian Borwinn led the Titans in goals and finished 2nd in points, just one behind Dan Montgomery. Borwinn's offensive prowess was observed through his 483 shots on goal, 7th most in the league. Julian was awarded the leagues Rookie of The Year award with his impressive 84 point campaign. Helsinki finished just one spot out of the post-season.

S64: 72 GP | 28 G | 43 A | 71 P | +24 | 303 Shots | 38 PIM | 83 Hits | 14 SB | 4 GW | 9 PPG | 1 SHG

Helsinki took the momentum of S63 into the off-season and added several veteran pieces. This meant Borwinn would see a demotion to the 2nd line for portions of the season. The reduction in ice time showed on his stat-line but Julian showed he could adapt well to being a role player when needed. His 28 goals and 43 assists were each 4th best on the club. Borwinn's defensive game continued to improve as his +/- improved by 34 to a +24. The Titans were back in the playoff picture with a 41 win season, good for 3rd in the league. Helsinki fought their way to an appearance in the cup final where they were swept by the Toronto Legion.

S65: 72 GP | 36 G | 39 A | 75 P | +22 | 318 Shots | 58 PIM | 123 Hits | 25 SB | 5 GW | 6 PPG | 2 SHG

After shuffling veterans, the Titans remained hungry for success in S65. Borwinn was now a staple on line one and balanced his output with 36 goals and 39 assists. Borwinn was beginning to solidify that he would be a consistent all-around performer season to season. Led by Alexander Pepper in goal, Helsinki rode a 43 win season (4th overall) into the post-season and once again made the cup final. This time they went the distance but fell short in game seven to the Legion. Julian contributed 19 points through 15 playoff games (8 G / 11 A).

S66: 72 GP | 51 G | 63 A | 114 P | +32 | 432 Shots | 40 PIM | 105 Hits | 20 SB | 15 GW | 13 PPG | 0 SHG

Everything came together for Helsinki in season 66. After two disappointing losses in the cup finals, Helsinki's building blocks were ready to fire on all cylinders. The Titans dominated the regular season finishing with a record of 55-14-3. Their 113 points were 22 clear of 2nd place Riga. The club scored 265 goals, which was 27 clear of 2nd in the category (Moscow). Like many Titans, Borwinn enjoyed a breakout season amassing 51 goals matching teammate Matt Thompson, and 63 assists for 114 points. His point totals were 10 clear of Vancouver star Jake Davis. Perhaps most impressively, Julian potted 15 game winners. Helsinki's seasonal success continued into the playoffs losing just once in 9 contests en route to a sweep in the finals over the Vancouver Wolves. Julian had 15 points in those 9 games (7 G / 8 A) and was a +9. Along with a Continental Cup, Borwinn added Brett Slobodzian, Dustin Funk, Kevin Brooks, Scotty Campbell and Mike Szatkowski trophies to his resume. This season alone is perhaps why Borwinn was a first ballot HOF'er.

S67: 72 GP | 37 G | 40 A | 77 P | +2 | 384 Shots | 64 PIM | 139 Hits | 31 SB | 3 GW | 10 PPG | 1 SHG

It's hard to follow up such a successful campaign. Typically 77 points would be something to celebrate, but some could consider it a fall from grace after 114 in the year prior. Yet, Borwinn carried on and scored 37 goals and added 40 assists. The Titans led their conference with 40 wins and once again saw a chance to make noise in the playoffs. Helsinki made a fourth consecutive finals appearance after a thrilling 4-3 series win against Riga in round two. This time around, Vancouver would reign victorious in six games. Julian scored 9 times and added 8 assists for 17 points in 13 playoff games.

S68: 72 GP | 46 G | 50 A | 96 P | +26 | 456 Shots | 103 PIM | 202 Hits | 31 SB | 11 GW | 13 PPG | 2 SHG

Borwinn seemingly added further grit to his skill-set prior to the S68 campaign. In an effort to return to top form seen in S66, Borwinn scored the second most goals in his career (46) and added 50 assists for a team leading 96 points. He broke 200 hits for the first time in his career with 202 and surpassed 100 PIM's with 103. Helsinki continued to be a seasonal performer with a 45 win season in the ever so tight European conference (Malmo 98 / Riga 96 / Helsinki 95). The streak of finals appearances came to a close in S68 as the Titans were defeated in six games by Riga. Borwinn had 6 points in those 6 games. Julian was awarded the Scott Boulet trophy as top two-way forward.

S69: 72 GP | 42 G | 51 A | 93 P | +28 | 447 Shots | 125 PIM | 241 Hits | 25 SB | 5 GW | 6 PPG | 1 SHG

Borwinn returned to the top of the league in terms of offensive output in S69. His 42 goals and 51 assists landed him 93 points as he helped the Titans to a 46 win season and yet another playoff appearance. Julian had the most hits in his career with 241 as he made another go for top two way forward. Helsinki took to the post season looking to improve upon their early exit the season prior. However, Helsinki lost again in 6 games, this time to Moscow. Borwinn was awarded the Mike Szatkowski trophy for most points during the regular season.

S70: 72 GP | 43 G | 52 A | 95 P | +11 | 398 Shots | 73 PIM | 203 Hits | 34 SB | 5 GW | 14 PPG | 1 SHG

In his final season, Borwinn continued to be Mr. Consistent as he scored almost identical numbers as in the prior year. His 95 points were 2nd in the league behind Jet Jaguars 97. Helsinki struggled and fell to a 35 win season, but did enough to make it seven straight playoff appearances. They would ultimately fall to Riga in a hard fought seven game series in round one. Borwinn was awarded his second Scotty Campbell award as league MVP.
