For pretty much his entire career, Scott Greene has played with Ambrose Stark on the Seattle Bears. This season, Stark will be retiring. We caught up with Greene to get some of his thoughts on his longtime teammate hanging up his skates.

"Stark is one of those players that is good in any position he plays. He was such a good defenseman, and he made a natural center," says Greene. "Not going to lie, I've always looked at him as a sort of rival! It's going to be sad to see him go this season. I guess I'm going to be seeing a lot more of my friends retire here in the near future. First we had LeGrande, now Stark. I dunno. I guess it's lucky that I've been able to play with so many talented players so consistently over the course of my career. Such is life, I guess."
