I've decided to come up with a few names I could have hypothetically used for some of my players, using the naming conventions the Knight brothers use for their players.

First up is Jason Hazard. Much like David Januzaj and Phil Gerrard, here I take a midfielder for my preferred soccer club (Chelsea) and throw my own first name onto his last name. David Januzaj was named after Manchester United's Adnan Januzaj and Phil Gerrard was named after Liverpool's Steven Gerrard. Much in a similar way, Jason Hazard would be named after Chelsea's Eden Hazard.

Next is Jason Azpilicueta. This compares to David Smalling, in that Smalling was named after Manchester United's Chris Smalling, a defender, and a comparatively young one at that when compared to the likes of Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand. Cesar Azpilicueta, a Chelsea defender, is younger than teammates John Terry and Branislav Ivanovic, so he fits the bill here.

Last is Jason Tsonga. Phil Rafter was named after Patrick Rafter, a tennis player. I don't really watch tennis, but anyone who can go through life with the name Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and get to adulthood without any severe mental breakdowns must be a strong guy.

I don't get it, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is a cool name.

It is, but at a younger age (middle school and high school, primarily) we don't generally treat people with unique names well, even if they're cool names.
