London United right winger The Terrible Trivium, who led the first year franchise in goals with 34 and finished one point behind the team leaders James Rose and Jay Jones, is bored. Not with being in London - "This city is just the coolest city I've ever been to. Best city in the VHL without a doubt" - but with the off-season.

"I get that we didn't finish in the playoff picture," Trivium said recently on a call-in show, "but you get into a rhythm. Practice, practice, game, practice, game, game. Beating the drum. And then it suddenly stops and you're not quite sure how to fill that void."

When pressed, he continued, "Don't get me wrong; I'm still practicing, still training. Working on my stick handling to get it to the next level. I know it's cliche to talk about bigger faster better and all that, but it's the goal. I want to make my mark on London and the VHL, and the best way to do it is to be the best player I can be."
