The graphic of the player suggests intensity while the background suggests vibrancy. I think you should have picked the diagonal line effect or pixalation as both its a bit much on a busy background. The logo replacement and player cutout are flawless. I would say that only thing lacking is finding a layer to tie all the elements together.
