Davey Jones Career Look Back

Davey Jones is excited at the thought of being able to top 100 points this season after missing out last year. During his rookie campaign, he amassed 86 total points on 44 goals and 42 assists. To him, that was a pretty good rookie campaign as there are some people who don't even come that close. He played second line center when he was drafted fourth overall to the Cologne Express. He was taken under the wing of Kameron Taylor. Taylor is a great player and probably will be first ballot for the hall of fame. Davey wanted to be more successful than Kameron when his career began. As it currently stands, Davey won't even be able to come close to that. He has conceded the fact that Kam is far superior to him and he won't even be able to compete with his career achievements.

During Davey's second season, he played for the HC Davos Dynamo. He was traded from the Express to the Dynamo after informing then GM Joey Kendrick that he was going to test free agency at the end of the season. While playing for the Dynamo, (also currently still plays for them), Davey had totaled 111 points with 55 goals and 56 assists. During the playoffs, Davey would be the key component in the Dynamo's title run. Davey had 13 game winning goals that season. He would go on to win the playoffs MVP as he was the person who would score the game winning goal for the Dynamo in the championship game. After a wonderful season, he was excited for his third year in the VHL. As it turns out, he would only top a mere 70 points as the second line center. During those two years with the Dynamo, he was second line center behind Sergey Brovalenko. The team was trying to win a continental cup as a going away gift for Sergey, but they would end up losing in the Finals.

In his fifth season during his career, (fourth in the VHL and not the minor system), Davey has tallied 97 points through 69 games so far this season. He has gotten 44 goals and 53 assists and is playing as the first line center for the Dynamo. He is quite pleased with how his stats are this season despite not practicing with the team as much as he originally had wanted to. Now that he sees that Davey still has a lot left to him, he has been trying to keep Davey going. He has already talked with prior GM Victor and current GM Molholt about potentially being traded in the off-season. It's does not have anything to do with the change in GM, just that being traded would help the teams cap situation. By doing this, they could bring in more free agents to try and help them compete. Davey's agent, Da Trifecta hasn't really liked current GM Molholt from past experiences, but he does not hold this against him in wanting to leave. It has been something he talked with past GM Victor about all season. Davey has stated that his last resort would be to retire, but he hopes it does not have to come to that.

Content: 3/3 - Met the requirement, but I would've liked some more meat on the bone. Perhaps a more detailed recap or something next time.

Grammar: 2/2 - Looked fine to me.

Appearance: .75/1 - All one type size, all bold, one image at the beginning. I would like to see something at least break up the wall of text, or some changes in type size/styling.

Overall: 5.75/6

Sorry about how late this is, not sure how I missed this one.

Decent article, but as Molholt said, It seemed a little bland and could have used some more meat. I just didn't find it all that "interesting".

Grammar: 2/2

Looks good.

Appearance: .75/1

I see where Molholt is coming from on this one, a little stale.

Overall: 5.75/6

FINAL: 6/6
