A quick Berocka wrap up

So, we have seen both the VHLM and VHL finish up so congratulations to both Vancouver and Miami on winning the cup. I hope that they are not to dusty for the upcoming draft.

 

Moving forward we have seen that one of the largest drafts are up coming and it will be a long one I would presume. Usually the first round runs quickly, and it slows down after that. This draft could take quite a long time. It could even go to a multiple day experience possibly. Imagine if something happens with the portal and it slows down this high round draft could last 12 hours. Knowing the GMs this could not be possible for everyone to attend and we may see BPA early from some teams. This means that any GMs that can hang around might be able to grab great steals instead of receiving a higher TPE inactive.

 

I am looking forward to the draft and will watch as much as I can whilst I am probably at work. I hope that we see some big drops and big reaches, with some drama already happening with the L & R requests. Will we see people hold off and not sign could we see someone go to Arbitration?

 

So, there was no VSN podcast this week as boot was away and I have been extremely busy recently. Yes, I may have spent too much time on the cricket sim. (If anyone is interested please let me know)

 

VSN has had a change of leadership with Dooms stepping down and Hatter taking over. I wonder how people view the VSN do people read every article and listen to every podcast. Are you going to read a VSN article over a normal article or it doesn’t really change how you view them?

 

Talking about my podcast what do I offer that people like Moose, Dok & Spyro and the other podcasts hosts not offer. Why do I get 8 TPE for my podcasts whilst everyone else only gets the 6?

 

I am not saying that the VSN is broken or is in need of a big shake up again, but I don’t really know the reach it has compared to articles. I am not saying also that they are overpaid I know how much work each and everyone of the writers do they are all great and deserve a lot of praise.

 

I think the VSN is very article heavy and the podcast section is really just myself doing my own thing. I listen to most other podcasts and I think that they are all great and everything they put out is just up to my level of effort and quality. Maybe people who listen might have differing opinions and I would like to know them.

 

I am sorry for anyone reading this. It is honestly just a spew of words at midnight so I could get my TPE for the week. Best of luck to GMs and players in the upcoming draft and see you all next week for a new podcast.

Loved this, it helped a newer/returning member like myself to read up on some of the important stuff in a quick and concise manner. I know this was more of a stream of conciousness article with not that much work going into it but it certainly got the job done for me. Looking forward to learn more about the VSN, the VHL's podcast world and all the other aspects I haven't had much contact with yet.
