The Reapers are Killing It !!!!

The Philadelphia Reapers are killing it so far.  They sport a gaudy 7 - 0 record with a +21 goal differential.  Granted that about 10% of the regularly scheduled games have been played and, as in all sports, anything can happen.

 

The Reapers are led by the 3 most efficient point production players in the league after 7 games:

 

Robert Bouchard 17 points

Darius Marimoto 14 points

Addison McLaren 13 points

 

McLaren also likes a physical game having delivered 30 hits which ranks him second (by one hit) in the league.

 

This all-star trio are backed up by Jacob Carson, in his second season with the Reapers, has, in seven games, a Goals Against Average of 2.14 which is the best in the league of any goalie having played 6+ games.  Tom Eagles has also contributed from the defense corps notching a respectable 9 points over the same time period.

 

Another contributing factor to the Reapers early season success is their depth 14 of the 18 skaters on the Reapers lineup have at least one point. A particularly scary proposition for opposing teams as they try to defend this juggernaut.

 

Should these trends continue, the Reapers will continue to be the team to beat and the odds on favorite to win it all.
