ESPN.SE - The Nighthawks have stumbled out of the starting blocks this season with a mediocre 5-5-0 record. The excitement of a huge off-season trade has faded and now there are questions about Malmo's possibilities of even making the playoffs this season. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel for the Nighthawks, as they are now on a 4 game win streak after starting the season with an abysmal 1-5-0 record. One player that will be crucial to the Nighthawks success will be Assistant Captain, Chris Hylands. We asked him about Malmo's start to the season and how the team has been affected by it. "Well we had a slow start to the season there. I think we were just trying to find that chemistry we had last season after the big trade to pick up Sasakamoose. I have no doubts we're gonna be able to hit that same level of play that we were at last season."

Perhaps the Nighthawks have just been unlucky so far. After all, of their five losses, only one of them was by more than a single goal margin, and even that was only a two goal loss. If their offense manages finds their scoring touch, Malmo will surely be a contender to take the extremely competitive European Conference. However, the games are coming thick and fast, so they better hope for a quick turnaround before they find themselves crawling out of a hole that is too deep.
