It’s London Baby!

The London United are off to an impressive start to their 75 season. As an expansion team London spend the last two seasons at the bottom of the league standings; things are about to change.

When the off-season began, GM of London United McWolf made a huge splash acquiring Chad Magnum (16 points in 21 games) and Erik Killinger (19 points in 21 games). These additions have proven to be genius as they have added leadership on and off the ice as well as produced immediately.  London’s star studded defence core and solid goaltending is driving this team right now; team leading scorer Kasper Kankkunen ( 23 points in 21 games +11, 30 shots blocked) has be an all around force game to game and with Kevin Malone and Nils Friedriksen posting a .94 and .92 save percentage respectfully it’s hard to argue with what’s going on in England.

With a 14-5-2(30 points) record; sitting 2nd in overall league standings, London fans are extremely excited. This team looks like it can do some damage this season and into the playoffs all with very promising prospects on the way. Look out for London Baby!
