Like for example, San Diego Marlins. Yeah, of course there is a San Diego team in the SBA, come on guys. And the SBA version: San Diego Corsairs. Los Angeles Stars|Los Angeles Rush Vancouver Wolves|Vancouver Wolverines Chicago Phoenix|Chicago Nightmare Mexico City Kings|Mexico City Ocelots Miami Marauders|Miami Vice New York Americans| New York Rail Philadelphia Reapers|Philadelphia Prowlers Seattle Bears|Seattle Knights Toronto Legion|Toronto Thunderbirds And my personal favorite: Las Vegas Aces|Las Vegas... The only one I come close to liking is Miami Bice but even I recognize how dumb a name that is for a team. I know Ocelots because Daxter (Jak’s sidekick) was an ocelot, and also from that season where Archer gets a pet ocelot, but had to google it to see the Mexico City connection. Rough. I could go on and on. New York Rail sounds more like a big city one night stand than a sports team. Corsairs? Prowlers? The dudes just googled “sports teams synonyms” and tried to be different. Woof.
