I presume that's still true?

Anyway, I have some Bad News for you all. Not even #BadNewsBarrettt level of news, like this really is bad news, it can’t even be said with humour in mind. Edwin Encarnacion failed to become a three time PIM Champion after failing to hold on to a slim margin over Godavari Yumalopinto heading into the final few games. It’s a flat out shock to the system for the Dominican defenseman, who prides himself on delivering as many penalty minutes as possible for his team in order to “influence” his team from the penalty box.

Perhaps the most concerning thing for Encarnacion is that he’s now set to enter his fifth year with the VHL, and historically players struggle to put as many penalty minutes as their younger counterparts. Then again, they aren’t like Encarnacion, they somewhat pick up penalties out of necessity to help the team, Encarnacion actively spends the entire game looking for penalty minutes. One could even say that, not only is Encarnacion a shit hockey player, but he’s also shit at what he’s trying to do. I mean he just came second in a race that first place wasn’t even actively competing in!
