Davey's Career Turmoil

Is Davey Jones' career becoming something that people aren't really interested in anymore? It seemed like the rookie sensation was primed to be a superstar in the league. Now that we have seen him play for four seasons in the VHL, can we say that he hasn't turned out to be what we thought he would? I mean he had a stellar rookie year but has fallen off the wagon since then. He showed so much promise during his first season and we all thought it would translate to a hall of fame career. Now it seems he is stuggling to get back to being relevant.

Davey had talked so much about retiring that he technically did for about 30 minutes. He called it a career and quite frankly he is glad that he came back. Ever since then, he has helped guide this HC Davos Dynamo team make the playoffs as the best team in the European conference. He has been proud of his performance and he put up 100 points on the season. Despite being a pure scorer, he had more assists this season. He has been set in as the first line center of the team and has been doing a great job. He is the playmaker that he wanted to be before he entered the league. Although he has a lot left in his career, he has been contemplating if a change in scenery would be what could revitilize his career. He talked with prior GM Victor about a possible trade to help the cap situation, then he retired and Molholt became GM. As it stands, player agent Da Trifecta, has talked with Molholt about a trade to get under the cap but that problem was resvoled when teammate Shane Baker retired.

There were talks of three teams that have been interested in Davey and he likes two of the three teams. He is still optimistic about sticking with the team and help the team try to make a nice run at the championship again next year. He also wouldn't be opposed to being shipped out if GM Molholt receives the right offer. Either way, Davey is ready to turn his career around and hopefully continue to dominate the VHL like he had planned on. It is going to take a lot of practice hours but Davey is committed to becoming better and helping whatever team he is on. He dedication is not in question as he always gives his teams 110%. He just hopes that he gets to continue playing at the high level he has been playing. It seems to make him happy when he plays hockey and when he plays it good. His mother is still proud of the young man he has become and watches every one of his games.
