The New York Americans were a better team than the Toronto Legion. Most would say that was the case during the regular season, heading into the playoffs the top seeded Americans were boasted as one of the best in the league and were favourites to go all the way. Despite that though, one player decided to step up to new highs. That player is Remy LeBeau. The Legion, an aging roster trying to repeat as cup champions were out played everywhere in the ice in every single game of the North American Conference Finals. However the biggest margin came in game five in which the Americans out shot the Legion 49 to 23 yet still lost 2-1.

All in all Remy LeBeau dealt with his club being outshot 229 to 164 in the series. Yet the high powered Americans offense featuring several of the top offensive players in the league could only muster 8 goals in 6 games. It isn't a stretch to say that Remy took the entire Legion on his back and single handedly eliminated the New York Americans. Posting a godly .965 save percentage and 1.20 goals against average against the Americans.

While the Americans may get another crack at glory as the seasons wear one and their core roster continues to grow, the team and it's player have to be happy that this is Remy's last season in the league. It looked as if LeBeau was in for a hangover season as he struggled more than usual during the regular season. However the man they call LeGod has turned it on during this series and during the playoffs. Other than one lemon of a game, a 7-1 beating by Davos in the finals, Remy has been the best player on the ice in the playoffs. If the Legion manage to come back and defeat the Dynamo look for LeBeau to be a heavy candidate for Playoff MVP for a second season in a row.
