the pitstop before the main vacation

Normally when you miss a bus for a team event you simply call the Owner, General Manager, Coach and they will send another to get you or will come back for you. Well this was not the case for Assistant General Manager TJ McLaren, Hounds player Miles Johnson, and hounds Defender Elvis Michael. This is a story of Mystery, Bonding, and Doubt.

The Mississauga Hounds had arranged a small mini team vacation to Maine, to help the team de stress and refocus on the mid season point of an up and down season. Everyone boarded a bus to the airport at 3 am in the morning, boarded their planes at 6 am, then arrived in Maine at 7:30. all that was left was catch a bus from the rural town they were in to Portland. Each person was given a few hours in the town of 500 people, everyone but 3 would arrive for the bus.

McLaren, Johnson, and Michael arrived as the buss was pulling out and TJ instantly got on his phone but there was no service. Now here they stood in a small farming town, in the middle of Maine and no idea how to leave. Hoping the team would notice they waited, and waited, and waited for almost 4 hours. Cars would pass and people would pass and make comments as they saw the three men sitting on their suitcases. A few minutes later Michael said screw it and began walking from the bus stop to the town were he thought they saw a motel, he would at least be war and comfortable. The other two agreed and followed.

The three men would be found three days later naked in a field surrounded by bottles and food and would share an incredible journey. They claimed when they got to the Motel that there was only room left, so they all had to bunk together. Whatever, so they took a night out on the town. If the team didnt notice them gone they would have there own vacation. When walking the streets a few ladies would smile and laugh. Loud music could be heard from one building and the three went in and drank. For hours.

This is when Michael claimed he met an old wizard in the bathroom who gave him these candies that helped him see the truth. After about an hour of trying to convince a wasted McLaren and Johnson they agreed and also took the Candy. They then claimed they were running in a tunnel of lights surrounded by the memories of their past. Then all of a sudden they claimed to be hunted by a man in a straw hat who wanted nothing more then to kill them (it was a scarecrow). They continued to wander around town. Claiming to have met the wizard again and he joined them for a few hours as they took this long trip up the mountain looking for gold.

the alleged "wizard"

Reality was they broke into a Mini golf course and climbed the plastic sets. Thinking they were time traveling to various times. They even reenacted various famous movies in the process. Before passing out in the field. The weird part is everyone who interacted with the trio claimed they were alone all night, the bathrooms are single person rooms, so there was no “Wizard” and the man they described had never been seen in the town ever. They swore they were not alone, but every account prove they were. The owner of the bar even claimed he kicked them out after a few beers once Michael tried to fight another Patron.

After a few days on the way back to Mississauga is when the team found them, all three men agreed after that day to never speak of it again. While everyone else had a nice hotel, poo, catering the three men here had to fight for their life, time traveled, and made a new friend. I would say that was a good Vacation
