Riga Trade and Roles

Another week has gone by in the VHL and the landscape of the Riga Reign has just been rocked. There was a major trade that brought in new players that include: D - Guy Sasakamoose, D - Oskar Lagesson and F - Ray Sheilds. This is a huge playoff push towards the end of the season. The GM of the Riga Reign don’t seem to be done with trading either. Keep an eye on Riga for a major playoff push at the end here. With the addition of Sheilds, is Lose’s role on the team diminished? A quick look at the team and we see no change in position for Lose. He is unfortunately still on the second line. Although he has found some luck with points in the past few games. Since the trade went through on Wed he has 4 - 5 - 9 with a +/- 4. This is a major improvement since the start of the season. He seems to have finally hit his stride and is making better decisions too. Lets see if Lose can get back into the rookie scoring picture and keep his promise that he made before the season.
