Girl Power Carries Warsaw in Game 7

The abundance of female players in the VHL is certainly growing and the quality of these fabulous females is on the rise as well. This was certainly the case for the Warsaw Predators in this past season who spotted a few terrific women on the ice in Aloe Dear, Lexi Glass, and Dagmar Havlova. In what was perhaps the biggest game in the young Predators' history, the women came to play!
 

Warsaw completed the reverse sweep of Helsinki in a thrilling game 7 that saw the Predators take a 6-3 win in the win and you're in game. In this game, 5 of the 6 goals were scored by female players with Lexi Glass and Aloe Dear having 2 goals each and Dagmar Havlova adding one as well, the first goal for Warsaw I believe. I would be willing to bet this may be the most combined goals for female players in a playoff game which is a huge achievement! I would be interested in overall stats for female players especially with more and more coming into the VHL and more and more becoming star players as well. Warsaw relied on 3 women as some of their star players and it paid off in this game, that's for sure. On to the next round!

 

The team is filled with terrific star players outside of the girls as well! Watch for guys like Waters, Reynolds, Lamb, and star goalie Krishna as well to help carry the team. The team is talented and the team is diverse and would usher in a lot of hope for all future young teams and expansion teams along with all the female hockey players out there looking to play professionally!
