    1. What position would you play, if not your natural position.

    2. What number did you wear in Junior, do you think you’ll have it in the pros.

    3. What sport would you be playing if it wasn’t hockey?

    4. What’s your go to pump up song, provide a link to us (YouTube)

    5. Tell us about the longest road trip you travelled to a tournament for in your pre VHL career.

    1. Left Winger

    2. I wore #19 due to the day I was born but I dont think I'll have it in pros. #7 or #9 wouldnt be a bad fall back option (#7 as my lucky number and #9 is my Dad's)

    3. Basketball because they make a ridiculous amount of money and you dont have to be the absolute best either. ;)

    4. Don't have 1.

    5. I had to travel from Kamloops, BC to Denver, Colorado for a World Juniors tournament. Shit the first day hit me hard because of the high altitude. I was recovered by the 3rd day. Luckily, we played every other day so although my 1st game was shit, I got better as the tourney progressed. We finished 3rd. Was playing against men when I was just a boy.

    1. What are your thoughts on the league so far?

    2. Does your player have any PREGAME routines? Superstitions?

    3. If you could compare yourself to an NHL player, who would it be and why?

    4. What are your goals as a player?

    5. Any suggestions as a new member to improve the site, make things easier or to better accommodate you?

    @ChrisF

    1. The league has a great group of guys and is very active.

    2. No pre-game rituals or superstitions. Just go out there and give it my all each and every game.

    3. Patrice Bergeron because of his faceoff abilities and his leadership. Always has something nice to say, never throws anyone under the bus.

    4. My goals as a player is to help my team win and always put the team ahead of myself. Thats what makes a great player. Helping others.

    5. No, everything is pretty self explanatory and easy to understand..

  3. Canucks have and always will SUCK. Linden leaving was smart on his part. Now we see if Linden truly wanted to REBUILD or if Benning is the idiot that doesn't want to rebuild and wants to "re-tool" (giving Beagle/Roussel/Schaller these contracts)

  4. It all started a few hours ago with the return of ChrisF, yes, that sounds all too familiar. However, this time, he created a player who is projected to play down the middle and help out whatever wingers he ends up playing with. As soon as his player was created, there were 3 teams that were after his services: Yukon (not Halifax hahaha), Saskatoon and Las Vegas. Chris was very humbled with all 3 offers but wanted to know more about his position with each organization and what they would bring to the table. Las Vegas GM was offering him 3rd line minutes but 1st line PP as well as 2nd PK unit and 4 on 4 and 3 on 3. Next up, Saskatoon was looking for a top 6 C, they wanted someone that could play with the best of the best on their top line, however, they were offering only 1M at the time. Yukon was offering the highest $$$ at the time at 1.25M but didn't hear much about what kind of role he would have. Saskatoon and Vegas were the 2 teams in contact with ChrisF to acquire his services. The turning point was when Saskatoon upped their offer to 1.5M and guaranteed ChrisF to play with their best winger, not only to help my player out, but also saw the potential in me to help the winger out as well. It was decided right then and there that ChrisF would be taking his talents to Saskatoon.

Of course, it's not like he would be playing far from home. Born in Burnaby, BC, Canada, ChrisF has some family from the Regina area who are big WHL fans. Obviously, during the winter, its gonna be freezing cold, to the point where you can freeze your nuts off but I'm sure the weather won't be a problem. It's all about adapting and getting used to it. The main thing is, this was a match made in heaven. Saskatoon wanted ChrisF, ChrisF wanted to be a part of Saskatoon. One thing is for sure, Las Vegas was very close to receiving my services. They are like a second home away from home but I went with my heart over my head.

With ChrisF joining Saskatoon's organization in the upcoming VHLM season, the time has come for ChrisF to perform at a high level and help however he can to make Saskatoon a winner and to bring home the VHLM cup where it belongs. The season cannot start soon enough. Let's drop the puck already and get playing!! This is what ChrisF had to say moments after he signed with Saskatoon:

I'm really excited to be playing in front of family and friends and it's going to be an honour wearing this jersey and playing in front of these great fans and this organization. I look forward to bringing my "A" game night in and night out and make the scouts aware that this guy is one hell of a player and will be a phenom for years to come.

    1) Since it's not been too long since you've joined the league, what are thoughts on the league so far as a whole?

    2) Are there any areas in the league that you would like to see a change/improvement?

    3) The VHLM Newsletter launched earlier this week, did you read it and was it helpful to you?

    4) What are your aims this season in the VHLM?

    5) With the teams starting to take shape, who do you consider to be the favourite for the VHLM Founders Cup?

6a) Is there any player on your VHL team that you're particularly looking forward to playing with when you make the VHL? (For players who were also in the VHL Draft)

6b) What do you think of your current VHLM team? (If you were selected in the VHLM Draft)

6c) If a GM were to make you an offer, what kind of player would they be getting? (If you're currently unaffiliated).

    1) I have always thought of this league as one of the best. Very great group of guys. Excellent activity.

    2) More LIVE streaming of drafts, free agency, lottery, etc

    3) I happened to read it today (just got it) and it is very helpful for the new members (or guys that disappeared and reappeared like myself lol)

    4) I want to be successful but make my team and teammates around me better too.

    5) Saskatoon

6b) I'm excited to be a part of Saskatoon and going to get the opportunity to play with an excellent winger. I hope I can help this team win!

@ChrisF You'd probably slot in at wing at first, until you earn enough TPE to win a center position. The good news is, I need a lot of forward ice time, so you'd get a lot at wing (though I'm sure you'd be a center soon enough)

I selected Saskatoon but thank you!

  7. I think Vegas still makes the playoffs. LA, SJ, ANA could all potentially miss the playoffs. Nashville is still a strong team in the West. Saros could take over as the starter later in the year. Colorado did really well last year, added Grubauer as well. Are they playoff bound again? I dont see why not. Calgary is a bubble team. They will either do really well with the changes or they'll fall on their faces like Edmonton.
