Hello my reader! I'm Izidors Balders, many smart peoples have analyzed my potential and invited to interviews. But this time i will tell you how i see all from a view of S50 draft prospect. So this will be something like my diary. So lets start with previous week. Previous week was harsh, last games in regular season. Brampton little bit ahead and we needed to catch them. Easy to say, harder yo do, cause after half season they got new talented players and they become our biggest rivals. In my home country was also big celebration, but GM didn't let me so i celebrated with my buddies, Dynamite and Donovan, in Yukon. The hardest was to get real Latvian beer, of course we didn't get it. But how it all started? It was Monday and i talked to GM, that he could let me to celebrate the midsummer fest, but GM was strict, no. So i decided to to make little celebration for team and show how in Latvia celebrate this fest. Of course was planned nonalcoholic drinks cause next day was game. But then something went wrong, Dynamite and Donovan, joined me and we all three went in little walk to local pub. In pub I noticed a hot chick, she was alone but we were three so we pulled out stick who will try to hook up. It was Donovan, he is great hockey player but in communication with girls he sucks, all happened so. Donovan started to talk: "Hi! You are so beautiful. Can i invite you to diner?" Hot chick: "Hi! Sorry, no. I'm on diet." But Donovan continued: "Then maybe to some movie in cinema?" Hot chick: "I'm watching movies online." Donovan was despaired: "Maybe we could go to my place and watch TV?" Hot chick bored: "No, no. TV i threw it out, cause it didn't showed anything interesting." Donovan shocked: "Then maybe we could do something what interests you?" Hot chick looks to Donovan: "I'm interested in sex, but looks like you not." She turned and left the pub. Donovan stayed with opened mouth. Me and Dynamite all night laugh about that, great player on field but sucks when its come to girls. But ssh, we couldn't tell it to anyone. We promised, so ssh. But anyway hi is a great mate. Next day was awful, was very hard to play. We all three were lucky cause Yukon to short roster and they cant afford to don't let play three best players in team. We also have Lee, but he cant do all alone. After game we all three had to clean our and guest team locker room, with toothbrush. But it was that worth. So what else happened? Oh, finished regular season and GM let little bit to relax all team before starts the harsh play-offs. We need to win three series to win the cup. Also draft is coming, but its seems far away. Now i need to focus on play-offs and get at least best defender award cause PO MVP probably will get Donovan.

This year i train little bit diferent, cause now i have heart rate monitor and i think there is already first results. If earlier i almost walked to stay in 60% -70% from HRmax, then now i can run ~7:20 min/km

oh you thought about miles. i thought about km. maybe mental you arent ready, cause i have run 2 half-marathons and in both at ~17km i have to stragel. Something happens and and i just cant any more althought physicaly i can.

damn 50k. I will try marathon maybe next season. And after 3 years, when i will have 30 years, i think to try 100k. Its only ultra in Latvia, i thikn so. From capital Riga - Valmiera.

The season is almost finished and we invited to little talk TOP3 best defender in VHLM and best defense man in team. Also he is potential first round pick in S50 VHL draft. Probably you already can name him, but last hint. In S48 he got Founders Cup with Bratislava Watchmen. Yes, it is Izidors Balders. Hello, Izidors! Your first almost full season in VHLM is passed, how you feel? Hi! Well, many things happened. Have great season in Yukon till now, thanks to GM. Also feel much bigger attention then last season. I think that because now im one of leader in team. Probably before draft the hype will rise. I see, about draft we will talk little bit later. But first, after S48 i asked you about difference between Watchmen an Rush, and you said that ask this after season. Although it little over half season, but whats the difference? Damn, you have good memory. Well, in Bratislava i felt like at home cause Bratislava (Slovakia) has many common thing with Latvia, like history, both are in Europe. But Yukon, its USA. Its huge. But probably you wanted to know about difference between teams. Only difference GM and teammates, also playing time. Everything the same, friendly team great leading from GM. After last few games looks like Yukon have secured their place in play-off zone. Have you imagined that in start of season? Was such feeling, cause GM gathered strong core of players. Of course we have some bad game, but we work hard. I hope that i will get the cup second season in row. Lets talk little bit about play-off. Yukon are only 3 points behind Blades and 1st spot in NA conference. Yes we gave the lead them and probably wont get back, so need to prepare to battle against last season Cup finals losers, Ottawa Lynx. Lynx has solid roster, but somehow they cant find best lines. Anyway it will be hard. Interesting. But how about your rivals Brampton? Looks like Yukon, mostly in games, cant handle them. Hmm.. Hard to say, we do everything. All game time we play equal, but the in last minutes or in overtime we lose. Something struggle. Maybe its goalie factor, cause i haven't seen that our goalie ever communicated with us. But i hope that GM will find best solution. Very slowly is approaching S50 VHL draft, so what thoughts about that? Or you dont think about it, yet. Don't think yet. Honestly i don't care where i get drafted, although i don't want be drafted by Riga. Don't know why but i think cause they are almost dead team. At this moment only Bears GM has interested in me, but probably when the draft will come near more GMs will interest. And now lets talk about things which isn't connected with sport. Recently in the social networks showed up photo with you: (Blushed) WOW!! I thought that i deleted all that pictures. Well that was mad party in season beginning with new teammates.
