  1. The fallacy in your logic is that you're comparing solely on a proportional level. Taking your numbers on an absolute level: Goals: Dahlberg: 45/23 (+22) Svoboda: 34/11 (+23) Assists: Dahlberg: 60/13 (+47) Svoboda: 37/9 (+28) Points: Dahlberg: 105/36 (+69) Svoboda: 71/20 (+51) Shots: Dahlberg: 439/221 (+218) Svoboda: 294/128 (+166) Hits: Dahlberg: 237/152 (+85) Svoboda: 51/7 (+44) Shots blocked: Dahlberg: 42/29 (+13) Svoboda: 43/21 (+22) Svoboda gets the edge in shots blocked, goals are basically a wash, but Dahlberg sweeps everything else there. Svoboda improved a lot don't get me wrong, but on a sheer numbers output, Dahlberg improved more imo. Both are going to be key pieces for Davos for a long time. Incidentally, if you want to stick with the purely proportional argument, Joey Boucher had better improvement ratios than Svoboda did.
  2. Not to my knowledge but they tend to be late on things during the off-season.
  3. Bold of you to assume the draft is today.
  4. The unique thing here is that Devise actually traded for a pick.
  5. I don't see it. More likely it'll be Thompson or Ironside.
  6. If they are over the cap and can make use of this cut, then they shouldn't be able to land any valuable UFAs after making their cut since they shouldn't have the cap space. If it is being used to cut a bloated prime contract to sign a better prime contract player at a more affordable price, then yeah I would have an issue with the current implementation of this added rule.
  7. That's fair, and it makes more sense since I had forgotten that free agency hadn't started yet. I know the struggles of trying to get a whole league of teams under a salary cap while allowing for enough space for every player to fit.
  8. Seems a bit weird that you wouldn't give the teams that are actually following the salary cap rules the free buyout as well tbh. Reward the teams that are actually following the rules.
  9. I think it just generally makes you a little better overall. Think of it as how a veteran player knows all the little tricks that a rookie might not.
  10. 2nd use for week ending May 5th.
  11. While it's good to look out for others, you have to remember to look out for yourself as well. I generally try to ignore them until they get bored. Usually I'll get a drink and throw up a youtube video to watch/listen to. It's been a long while since I watched Disney movies but I always liked Aladdin and the Lion King growing up. Usually in a cone because you can eat the cone after. Wouldn't you like to know ?
  12. He's not entirely wrong but like has been said, 17 TPE a season isn't going to make or break a career (hell look at the difference between Dragomir and Arroyo). It's not like you can pay as much as you want for the blues to line their pockets, it's a small amount to pay for server hosting costs and recruitment avenues. As much as everyone wants to be a max earner, it's rare that someone actually consistently does every single task for their entire career.
  13. West coast best coast.
  14. My recreate will be Ev'an R' Law'son.
  15. No idea. I know Le'Sean was correct on the S58 one though.
  16. There was a portal bug that delayed the trades.
  17. I do think that they should be equaled out more. The other option I would suggest is just bumping it up to 5 answered for 1 TPE as well so that they are in sync. I always felt weird asking someone 5 questions since it leaves them 1 short so I used to just ask 3 different people 3 questions each and one got a bonus question. Bumping it up to 6 questions asked while leaving 3 answered also works to at least make it less awkward.
  18. Was looking at the Founder's Cup winners page on the portal and found that the S59 Yukon Rush have a ton of errors in the names. C - LeSean CoutzenLW - Veran DragomireRW - Brand SamfordD - Billy PilgramD - Luc Pierre Lespineau LebrunetteG - Tristan Iseault I forgot just how stacked that team was. Basically everyone of note in the S60 VHL draft and a baby Matt Thompson.
  19. S59 Yukon Rush never forget.
  20. I like how Seattle has to trade for their own first round pick.
  21. It's more to get an early window into negotiation talk. No one would think bad if you walk and the GM knows going into the trade it's a gamble. Devise did the same for Keaton Louth two seasons ago and he walked right out anyway. It's not any more "asshole-ish" than any other free agency situation. That said, I can now officially say we'd be happy if you resigned ?
  22. I had a job for a couple months for a start-up design company. It was through a friend of my aunt's who was looking for someone with computer design and IT experience and my aunt thought "oh he uses a computer a lot so it must be good"! The position wasn't a perfect fit and the boss ended up being one of those people who would tell you one thing one day then expect something different the next day and we just never really saw eye-to-eye on most things. It's a palindrome. Basically I couldn't think of a good first name for the player so I just used the last name twice. I'm not sure people have improved upon the original formula of water for pools. Money might be nice if I got to keep it but I'm not sure how well it would do at padding the landing part of the jump. Most other things would either be too hard to jump on or would leave me all sticky and gross feeling. Pillows might be a fun one though. Other 3 questions answered this week.
