Happy March! Couple more weeks until the first day of Spring. Couple more days and I'd imagine we're closing in on the start of the regular season. Oh and yeah, I know, too early for Easter, but we can hype, right? For Recruitment, we've been approved for a specific budget (finally) and are able to go to work. We have a few things planned and as always, want to be transparent the best we can with the community to get everyone involved. The more minds - the better We've been quite busy and have made a lot of effective changes and improvements behind the scenes. Hopefully soon in the future we'll be able to showcase some of that in the form of a strong recruitment drive. It takes all of us though. Not just the recruitment team. YOUTUBE - We have lined up 1-2 YouTube creators for the week or April 14th to April 20th, 2025. This was the discussed and planned week of the Trade Deadline and is what's current on the league calendar. We've worked with one of them in the past and while the numbers for views and subscribers aren't as high as we've worked with in the past, we're confined to a budget. I think it should still be effective. **We will only go with 1 YT creator at the end of the day. I've just considered funding the second one myself to help out and boost things. It's a gamble. It's slightly newer. ELG on the spreadsheet. We also don't want to put all our chips into one pot or all our money into one stock. We want to diversify our efforts, funds and new members consistently throughout each draft. In other words, we don't want to over fill S100 draft when most people are already holding out for it anyway and then having only 1.5 rounds in S101, 102 etc. REDDIT - We’re considering paid advertisements on Reddit. We've discussed it heavily as of the evening of March 8th. We're trying to circle in on how we want the paid advertisement. This is why it's so important that if you have Reddit, you join our community as it assists with recruitment efforts @Big_Dyl has done amazing work on growing the Reddit presence - along with myself and a couple others. We've been getting further permissions from posting and have had big success with subreddits like /hockey and /teens. We're in a bunch of others, too, but these are the two recent bigger communities. Haven't posted yet, holding off. Also contribute too ther communities by making daily/weekly posts in them chatting. This way we're not seen as "spammers" and it also gets league exposure. TIKTOK - We’re considering paid advertisements on TikTok. A minor post boost. Likely to bring in minimal totals (if any). The TikTok community is at 1,800. Instead of donating straight to the VHL, myself and @Ricer13 got approval to instead boost our recruitment efforts for the same prices on TikTok/X/Twitter. $15/season. I haven't been working on this as much. There's a lot going on in life and I'm spread thin in terms of recruitment as it is. We're maintaining TikTok and have lightly looked into advertisement on here in the past. At this time, all we're doing is making a simple TDL post with some graphics, etc. X/TWITTER - We’re considering paid advertisements on Twitter/X. Less likely to do this one as opposed to focusing efforts a little more on Reddit. We also want to stay under our budget. That's going to be awesome for future runs and consistency in the VHL. ALSO - Instead of donating straight to the VHL, myself and @Ricer13 got approval to instead boost our recruitment efforts for the same prices on TikTok/X/Twitter. $15/season. AFFILIATES - We will have the normal TDL post. I'd imagine sometime in the coming weeks we will craft a message and reach out to the appropriate people to get permission to post the week of TDL. INACTIVE EMAIL to Celebrate Season 100 - If there ever was a time to do it, even if the last time we did it was just a year ago, I think this is a damn good time. Will be writing up eventually. That's a good chunk of what's going on anyway! HAPPY Sunday as I finalize this to post. I have a massive week coming up. It's been a REALLY tough last 365 days. Holy smokes the hardships and stress we've crossed (not just including our dogs health). However, this last week and some has been nothing but INCREDIBLE and this upcoming week is hopefully going to be full of a lot more of the same. I know 2 of the events next week I have coming up. They have to do with why things have been so positive. So the weeks going to be great. In others, let's kick some ass next week!

Bana Blabs: Champs Edition There was a lot of talk about wildcards making it further because of morale and those fires were put out with great research. What people also fail to analyze and think about is the moves made during the season or trade deadline. Seattle came into the regular season with an incomplete roster. We weren't the "norm" of 6-4-1/2. We had a lot of cap but the market had dried up. The pieces that were left, the GM's prices were so out to lunch that they were actually sitting at the round table planning tariffs on their strongest allies with Trump. Seattle went 75% of the season without an incomplete roster, saved cap - knowingly taking a hit and making cap retention heavily work in our favour. We HANDED OUT A GOOD CHUNK OF BONUSES in the regular season... and went most of the season without a complete roster.. and still won the cup LOL GMOTY move imo but people don't know these details. We look at the standings and judge solely on that alone. Exciting to retire my player. Great career. I think could be HOF. Cup win with some personal awards, too. Mostly 40 goals+ every single season. Dominant in the playoffs. New player is exciting, too. Zara Wolf. I'm really excited for the start of their career because: - The VHLM should have always been similar to the SHL's minor league with a higher cap/ceiling and banking ability. For too long we've drowned low players in the bigger leagues and by raising it you're also making the league mean more. More loyalty etc. \ - VHLE honestly REALLY sucked. If people thought Project Player 2 was a failure (which I don't), the VHLE is probably the biggest imo in recent memory anyway. 292 words +2
