  20. Seattle - The Seattle Bears are coming off a tough lose to the Calgary Wranglers and are looking to make a few steps in the right direction. Coming into this off-season, they knew it was going to be a big one where magic was going to happen during the moments of hibernation. With the tummy full after eating all season long, the Bear closes it's eyes for an extremely quick hibernation session to recharge itself. For the Bear, an Apex predator wherever it goes, it's imperative to continue to recharge and regain his energy so he can continue to be strong. For the VHL's Seattle Bears, you can typically say the same thing. This off-season has already seen the Seattle Bears running too! With a few moves here and there, the development of some key players and the draft and free agency on their way, the Bear gets ready. For a quick 6 TPE to cap the week, let's take a look! The Seattle Bears traded for Taro Tsujimoto, from the Davos organization. Coming in at a decent price, it's a win/win deal for all 3 sides and the player is surely going to flourish in Seattle. Their build is incredibly strong and was exactly what Seattle needed to continue the cycle. They're going to be one of the bigger reasons for Seattle's success (or failures) this season and will likely see top minutes across the board except for moments of play and finding chemistry. The continuation of development for their youngest players seems to be going well. All players are hitting nice TPE ranges and have stronger builds. Some come in at affordable contracts, still being in the rookie phases. This is Seattle's season to take advantage of this and make some noise while they still can. They've removed some players, whether it be Team Options or retirements that opened up a bunch of cap to afford the increasing contracts of the younger players. It also allows for them to bring in Tsujimoto and a hopeful extra option from FA or trade. They do have their eyes on a few. The team has added a couple of players this season from the VHLE. @Beaviss @Hogan @FrostBeard are all joining the team this season and while the builds aren't incredibly high yet, we all know by now they don't have to be to work in the VHL. It worked for us in S68 and look at Vancouver. We're excited to finally have them up to see what they can do. Especially Mr Anti Meta. VHL Draft tonight. Draft is pretty thick in the first couple of rounds, so we're excited to see what's available at each pick. I think one we know what is going to happen, but the later is up in the air. We've went back and forth a little bit on what the team wants to add. Adding D-men is always a good thing. They're far and few at times, so owning a good chunk of them always puts you in a nice place. The same could be said about another position. G has been a thought too and would save Seattle the issue of having to look in a few seasons or could open up the possibility of a trade later on. The issue? the flooding of goalies now. It's the rhythm the VHL usually takes? That was not fun. I never want to do it again. +6 see u next week
