  1. S92 VHL Draft Prospect Guntis Gavilrovs is excited to see where he ends up on draft day! One of the top defenseman available in the Season 92 VHL and VHLE draft, experts have been speculating he goes early on draft day somewhere in round 1. The gigantic Latvian Dman (6'8" 250) is coming off a fantastic season for Houston in the VHLM where he led the entire league in goals from the blue line (27) and tallied 70 points in 72 games along with 187 hits! He followed that up by leading the Bulls in playoff points with 12 in 13 games helping his team to game 7 of the conference finals. Gavilrovs is a beast and will be a huge addition to any VHL team on draft day that is lucky enough to call his name. He's been contacted by a few teams but has no idea what will happen on draft night. He's excited to find out where he ends up and inevitably what team will be winning numerous cups with him over the next 8 or 9 seasons. One thing is for sure whoever takes the Latvian giant won't be disappointed with his contributions on the ice. Locker room activity on discord is another story though, lol.
  2. 1. I would say pasta and grilled chicken, about 3-4 hours before gametime. 2. Zdeno Chara without question, my player is as tall and similar physical/offensive game. 3. I'd have to say the old Minnesota Northstars jersey and color scheme, just love that look. Questions: 1. What was the best gift you received this holiday season? If no gift then last gift you gave yourself. 2. What is your players pre-game hype song? 3. Will Ovechkin catch Gretzky's goal record, why or why not?
  3. Guntis Gavilrovs and the Houston Bulls ended their incredible season with a very tight 7 game series against the eventual champs the Saskatoon Sonsabitches. The Bulls were up in their series 3-2 and the Sonsabitches came back and won game 6 in 5 overtimes, yes five, then won game 7 in a tight one. Unreal and understandable nickname for an otherwise great organization. Either way the Bulls and Gavilrovs had a great playoffs and were tought to beat. Gavilrovs led the team in scoring with 12 points in 13 games, 3 goals and 9 assists. Guntis also had 44 hits and 23 blocks in the 12 games. A very strong playoffs for a the big Latvian defenseman. He now looks on to the S91 draft where he's expected to be one of the better Dmen in the draft class. Guntis will likely move on from the Bulls next season assuming he plays in the VHLE or VHL, but he loved his time in Houston and his GM's and teammates were fantastic! Will always be a Bulls fan and proud alum!
  4. 1. We were better, they got ;ucky in 5th overtime and again in game 7. We should be the champs but shit happens. 2. We're the best team. Another team just won the championship is all. 3. I think it would have been close cuz Logan Ninefingers but in the end we'd prevail. 4. I will be part of the VHL draft and I guess the VHLE draft also? Should be fun. 5. Guntis will lift heavy this off-season so he can be even more physical next season. 6. Sneaking this in right before deadline on xmas eve lol, just spending time with family. happy holidays man.
  5. Houston Bulls vs Saskatoon Wild has definitely lived up to the hype, coming off a 5 Overtime performance in game 6 that saw the Wild somehow stay alive to tie the series 3-3. It's been a back and forth match up with a decisive game 7 that could be happening as I type this... Houston has played great and are getting fantastic goaltending, very strong play from their defense and clutch scoring from the forward group. Our own Guntis Gavilrovs had had a great series on the blue line with numerous top 3 stars, tons of hits and leads the team in points so far, can he bring another big performance in game 7 to help his team move on to the finals! Would be a big match up going against Logan Ninefingers and the Reapers but let's stay focused on winning one more game vs Saskatoon first! Should be a great game 7!
  6. 1. Solid opponent in round 1 but I was never really worried. 2. I'd probably say so, we turned the corner there and shut them down. 3. I agree and would also say Gavilrovs and Mcflopper were good also 4. I think Guntis played well, was real physical and strong on D and racked up a good amount of assists also. 5. Anything goes in playoffs, currently in game 7 so we'll see! 6. Hard to bet against this group
  7. Houston Bulls defenseman Guntis Gavilrovs finished as the league leader in powerplay goals with 14 and also led all defenseman in goals with an incredible 27 on the season! An unexpected monster goal scoring season by the 6'8" 250 pound physical Dman. He shocked even himself with his goal scoring as he always thought he had a scoring touch but never thought he'd even be close to leading the league in these categories! He even had two hat tricks on the season! In total he finished with 27 goals, 43 assists and 70 points in 72 games. Pretty unreal for a guy who came in as a pure shutdown defenseman. His defensive play was also elite as he finished with 187 hits, 79 blocks and a +42 rating, helping the Bulls to the 2nd best record in the league! A very impressive regular season for the big Latvian and he likely raised his draft stock a bit with such a performance. Now he faces the challenge of helping the Bulls in the playoffs as they have their sites set on the cup! Currently it's a tight series the Hounds in round 1 but we know Guntis and company can pull this one out! Their defense and goaltending is elite so they just need a bounce or two and should hopefully win this series!
  8. 1. Nothing went wrong we still finished with an incredible record and 2nd best in the league, just finished 2nd in our conference is all. We still rule! 2. Yes we def can but we gotta beat mississauge first and it's too close right now lol 3. I'm thrilled, exceeded my expectations. Good hits and leading goal scorer for dmen and league leader in ppg, im amazed. 4. I'd still have to say Pipo Poppa but we have a lot of worthy skaters as well 5. Guntis Gavilrovs, obviously 6. I don't know yet, I love playing for the Bulls but have a lot of tpe
  9. Houston Bulls defenseman Guntis Gavilrovs now leads all blueliners in goals with 23 after a 4 goal outburst this week against Miami. All four goals came on the powerlplay to make this achievement even more amazing. Gavilrovs has become a goal scoring machine of late and now ranks near the top of the league in powerplay goals as well with 11 on the season among all players. Last week in our article we mentioned Guntis Goals were trending and he had a chance to take over the lead in goals by a defenseman. Now Guntis Goals has gone viral and he leads the charge as we head into the final games of the season. What's also cool his teammate DB IV is the closest defensman to him with 21 goals and is also having a fantastic season. The Houston Bulls have one of if the best blue lines in the VHLM and will be tough to play against in the playoffs, especially if they continue to get heavy goal scoring from their Defense. Gavilrovs 4 goal performance shows he's not just an elite shutdown defenseman, his offensive game is real and he's proving to be a huge asset to the Bulls this season.
  10. 1. We passed Vegas and are close to those jerks from Saskatoon but we may not catch them, it's gonna be close though! I think we can do it! 2. We did cuz we are the best and have the best GM's. We will win it all. 3. See above, lol. We are a strong team, star players and well managed 4. I like having a few days off to recharge my battery and then come in refreshed and ready to go. 5. at 6'8" and 250 pounds his playoff beard is more majestic than a wooly mammoth. 6. Yes but nothing major yet
  11. WOW Guntis Gavilrovs 4 goal game from the blue line! ...once in a career moment, had to comment
  12. Houston Bulls defenseman Guntis Gavilrovs is becoming quite the goal scorer lately, 2 more goals today vaults him into 2nd place among defenseman in the entire VHLM with 16 on the season! I He's only 2 behind the league leader and it's possible he could pass him very soon. #GuntisGoals is definitely trending. It's quite remarkable that a player who came in as an elite shutdown defenseman could developing his scoring touch so quickly but Bulls fans and management are happy to see it. Gavilrovs is still playing his elite shutdown game out there and throwing tons of hits, up to 133 on the season, good for 7th in the league and 4th among defenseman. His +25 rating also ranks 4th among defenseman and his blocks are solid at 65, especially given the fact that Houston doesn't allow a ton of shots against, especially early in the season. Gavilrovs now has 16 goals, 32 assists and 48 points in 52 games, nobody expected this kind of offense from the 6'8" 250 pound bruiser, but fans, coaches and management are hoping it continues into the post season!
  13. 1. We were bound to come back to reality a bit, I think we're still playing very well there's just two other teams right with us. We are the best team in the league imo 2. Anytime you see a team dominating like we were people will want to be a part of it. Plus we have an awesome logo. 3. I think just figure out the best way to play with the new guys we have now. 4. I still have to say our goalie Pipo Popa, he was a big reason we got out to such an insane start and is still playing very well 5. I think Everdeen is a good bet to finish as our top scorer, should be able to hold off the two Dmen behind him, mclfopper is hot tho so could catch them all. 6. I think it's fine, we have players from all over the world so we should reward their countries fans with some events.
