The sun is only kinda sorta out, but the people are out, so let's get into it. After three dead last night, everyone is relieved (and, at the same time, annoyed) to find that only one person has died last night. @Mr_Hatter just found a SHERIFF's hat yesterday, but it turns out the MAFIA doesn't take kindly to police. WEDNESDAY--The Bulls' 10-1 loss to Philadelphia in their season opener was not exactly the way GM Alexander Pepper hoped to kick off his return to VHLM management. The Reapers took control with a 3-0 first period and did not take their collective foot off the gas even once, handing Houston an embarrassing loss which exceeded even the wildest projections for the Bulls' rebuilding season. There wasn't much for Houston fans to appreciate during the game, but a shot of Pepper during the second period went viral in the days that followed. "...and it looks like the GM is crying, Biff," said TV play-by-play man Rex Bluefield 16 minutes in, after Damien Wolfe netted his second of the game to make the score 6-1. "Crying into some sort of...pillow or something." "That's what it looks like to me," agreed color commentator Biff McMaster. "That's one big pillow, though. I'm not sure I've ever seen one quite like it." The broadcast moved back to on-ice action shortly thereafter, but Thursday morning saw anime pictures and videos all over the Bulls' social media pages, with Pepper being tagged in many and with the team's social media staff scrambling to report and remove all pornographic material. Searching for answers, as the media does, fans who attended Wednesday's game were visited by crews of reporters trying to get the inside scoop. "I know exactly what that is," said Brody Gregory, a diehard fan of all things both hockey and anime. "That's a Kagamine Rin body pillow if I've ever seen one. I've got mine with me right here, and I bring her with me everywhere I go. It's 9:19 PM. The Grand Exalted Supreme Master of the Doomed (whoever the Doomed may be) has returned from work. The town has continued to be spicy today. Votes are thrown out for many different people, and suspicion is cast (hi Victor!) all around. The whole town seems to be hunting for neutrals over mafia after last night's triple kill business, and @Josh is being led over to the Fonzi Tree this time, under suspicion of being a vampire. Before going out, Josh tells the town that no, he's the trapper, they don't want him. His case isn't good enough, and up in the tree he goes. After he dies, though, a giant metal bear trap is found next to a toolbox in his house. Josh was indeed the TRAPPER, albeit not a very helpful one while he was alive. Hat update: for the first time in a while, @Mr_Hatter has shut up about his hat. Today, he found a sheriff's hat, and has decided that that's good enough. Night 5 begins NOW! PSA: Our night phase will be starting a bit later tonight as I get out of work at 9:00, and tomorrow's day phase will be starting earlier as I start work at 8:00. If you're targeting someone with your night actions, I'd appreciate if you could get them in before midnight EST or so, just so I can wake up, send stuff out, and make the announcement in the morning without having to figure out what the hell happened. I'm cool with it if you submit actions during the day phase, too--just give me a backup target then in case your first target gets lynched. Midnight isn't a deadline--you can get your stuff in at any point before the morning post goes up and it will go through. Just something I'd appreciate tonight (and possibly tomorrow night) in particular.

Wax on, wax off--the full moon starts to disappear as the sun comes out, and with the sun come the people. Well, most of them, anyway. Some people decide to go out and check on @solas after yesterday's heavenly proceedings. Today, he's not looking so heavenly--he never made it out of his bed this morning. He was attacked by a member of the MAFIA, and he was the ESCORT. That's not all there is for last night, though--@Doomsday has also gone missing. He seems to have been given the Proto treatment, and that full moon has done what it does best. He was killed by a WEREWOLF. Upon further investigation, written death threats to several living town members are found on his desk. He was the BLACKMAILER. Even that's not it for last night, as the home of @ContinentalCup036 is searched next. He's found with his carotid artery...not exactly intact. Attacked and killed by a VAMPIRE, several suspicious items are found around his house. It's that time of night again, and the sun does its usual thing. The town isn't nearly as quiet as it has been in days previous. Instead of the peaceful townfolk retreating back to their homes and locking their doors--and then double-checking that the doors are locked for good measure--they're out near the woods, stringing up @fonziGG in a nice sturdy tree. "String him up!" scream @Doomsday and @Philliefan, almost in cliché paperback-novel unison. "I'm not sleeping until he's hung!" yells @Berocka. "The proper term is 'hanged'," says @diamond_ace, who isn't even a regular citizen of the town but who stopped by on his way to Boston. "You won't be sleeping for quite a while if you wait for what you said." "Has anybody seen my hat?" asks @Mr_Hatter. The execution goes by in an interesting manner. Fonzi complains loudly that he's a member of the town, then says that he's a member of the mafia, and then he's shoved off the makeshift platform the town threw together earlier this afternoon. As the rope does its thing and Fonzi's body comes to a violent midair jerk, a magic wand falls out of his pocket. He was the WITCH. Fonzi's last will: List of those left alive: Night 4!

Morning rolls around, and for the first time, @Mr_Hatter seems concerned with something other than his hat. "So where's Cole?" he asks. "I want to know if he really did protect McWolf." Turns out he didn't get that far--on the sidewalk outside his home, we find bullets scattered in the surrounding grass, windows shattered in the nearby houses, a lot of blood, and, of course, @ColeMrtz, victim of a drive-by shooting by the MAFIA. He was the BODYGUARD. Something seems a bit off about @solas today, and, for a change, it's not that he's dead. He seems to...I don't know, radiate a bit. @Mr_Hatter takes one look at this heavenly glow and goes right back to looking for his hat again. Someone doesn't like the looks of this and tries to vote him up for lynching, but upon eye contact immediately changes their mind. solas, last night, was protected by a GUARDIAN ANGEL.
