  1. Next up in our presentation, VSN is proud to present the Founder’s Cup, awarded to the winner of the VHLM Playoffs! As has been the case in countless seasons before, any time a team goes to win the Prime Minister’s Cup, anything short of a Founder’s Cup Championship would be disappointing, and Philadelphia came into the playoffs maintaining their energy and pace from the regular season and took on the competition head on! Never in these playoffs were Philadelphia taken to the brink of elimination, as in the first and second round, took care of business in six games against both the defending champs Saskatoon Wild and similarly against the offensively lethal Houston Bulls. In the Finals, they took on the Las Vegas Aces who loaded up on players at the trade deadline, and casually swept them in four to win the Founder’s Cup in convincing fashion! Congratulations to @Lemorse7 and the Philadelphia Reapers organization on winning the Founder’s Cup!
  2. Starting us off, VSN will present the Prime Minister’s Cup, which is awarded to the VHLM team which holds the best regular record. One team stood out above all in this race for the PM Cup, being the only team to achieve over 100 points at the end of the regular season and besting the second place Las Vegas Aces in this race by almost 20 points, it’s the Philadelphia Reapers! A remarkably talented team across the board, they dominated both of the conferences during the regular season with the best statistical numbers in both goals for and against, and bolstered a staggering +82 goal differential by season's end! Congratulations to @Lemorse7 and the Philadelphia Reapers organization for a dominating season, and earning themselves the Prime Minister’s Cup!
  3. Once again good evening everyone, and welcome to this very special presentation of VSN, the Season 92 VHLM Awards! This was an incredible season for many players and teams across the league, and set the stage for many fantastic future careers in the VHLE and VHL. The VHLM’s primary objective has always been developing the next generation of players for competition in the higher leagues, and in this award showcase, we’ll be looking at the potential best of the best in a few seasons! Without further ado, let’s take a look at who our biggest stars of S92 were!
  4. VSN Presents: Season 92 VHLM Awards Good afternoon, everybody! 5. This is a wonderful article, what a great read!
  6. VSN Presents: S92 World Junior Championship Roster Predictions! Welcome to yet another VSN presentation of the World Junior Championship! We’re in the S92 edition today, and we have quite a bit to cover! The rosters for the S92 WJC have yet to be publicly announced, so in this edition of VSN, we’re gonna predict what each roster might look like, and how they’ll perform in the Round Robin and Medal rounds! Without further ado, let’s take a look at what these teams may look like in a few days! Team Europe: Starting out with arguably the strongest team in the WJC once more, we have Team Europe. The biggest things out the gate that I noticed of this team is their remarkably strong defense and goaltending. Of the top eligible players for Team Europe, 5 out of the top 7 players are either defensemen or goalies, and are all near or at the 400 TPA mark in terms of their earnings. With this in mind, Team Europe is projected by VSN to absolutely shut down games, and be able to put up some decent number of goals offensively too. Adi Dassler @BOOM, Kimi Raikkonen @mattyIceman & Nico Belique @Syzygy headline the forward core, and are all also high earning forwards with heaps of skill on both ends of the ice! All things considered, Team Europe is looking incredibly strong this WJC, and once more are projected to win the World Junior Championship! As we all know though, upsets have happened in the past, and Team Europe’s worst enemy may be themselves in the Medal Round as what happened in last season's WJC. With that in mind however, they have everything to prove this season's tournament, that last season was just a fluke and they’re ready to return to the throne of the World Juniors. Considering they fixed the biggest issue that plagued last season's team in terms of their depth and goaltending woes, anything short of a Gold will be a massive disappointment to everyone in Team Europe's system. Time will tell what ends up happening in a few days! Team Canada: After a very disappointing end to last season's WJC, Canada has returned with a vengeance and looks to prove all the doubters wrong this season! Canada wants to at least win a game this season, and with the look of their projected roster, I expect them to win a lot more than just one!. With an incredibly strong first forward line in Isaac mclflopper @sportexperts show, Eno Velvson @Nykonax, and Bryce Woodworth @SirRupertBarnes headlining, the offense is going to be potent to say the least! Down the depth chart, they have a very strong center core, and will be leaned on rather heavily in special teams play. Beyond that, a good goalie in Toddly Bobbly @ToddlyBobbly and other wingers considered, Canada this season is going to be very offensively minded, and will be expected to put up a significant number of goals against weaker teams defensemen. The only thing concerning this roster is the severe lack of elite Canadian defensemen present in their eligibility lists, which means they’ll either have to work their way down the list to find their own defensemen, or pick from other teams in the tournament. Either way, it’s not an ideal situation by any means for Team Canada, and will likely suffer in the scoresheet for it. Expect very high scoring games in which Team Canada takes part in on both ends of the ice. There’s at least one team like this each World Juniors, so Team Canada games are going to be very entertaining to watch happen this season! Team Canada is also VSN’s dark horse candidate for the World Junior Championship as their offense against Team Europe’s defense is going to be very interesting, and I personally will be very invested in those games myself! Team World: Onto the halfway point of our coverage, we have the very interesting Team World! A similar situation to Team Europe, they bolster a remarkably strong goaltending situation. With arguably the best goaltender in the tournament between the pipes in Pipo Popa @npuBeT, and projected VHLM Playoff MVP in Jorgen Lovstrom @Pifferfish backing him up, Team World will likely have at least a few games stolen by their goalies. Moving past that, Theo Allard @InstantRockstar and Behrens Minion @UnknownMinion headlining the forward core as near top earners, Team World has a great chance at proving to be a bit of a Cinderella story in the making, and would certainly shake up the WJC dynamic if they ended up going all the way! As with Team Canada, the depth might be the only thing holding them back from going rather deep into the Medal Round, but they have excellent pieces in key roles that makes the problem potentially void. A good goaltender duo in these kinds of tournaments usually makes or breaks a run, and Team World has everything they need in that regard to stay competitive. Whether the lack of All-Star caliber defensemen or depth proves to be a factor is yet to be seen, but Team World is going to be a very interesting team to watch in this tournament indeed. We shall certainly see what the future holds for them when the puck drops in a few days! Team USA: Nearing the end of our coverage, we have Team USA! This is a very interesting team in that they aren’t necessarily the best team in the tournament, but definitely not the worst. They have an incredibly strong first forward line similar to Team Canada, and duels between these two lines in historic rivalry games is going to be a treat to watch. George Richmond @badcolethetitan, Logan Ninefingers @Scurvy and Riley Martin @Smarch are all maxed out earners and are going to be on fire in this tournament offensively speaking. Looking past that line, the depth certainly falls off in terms of pure skill, but that doesn’t discount the value that these players can bring to Team USA. Bric Sheithaus @Oldhead91 especially, despite only being at 200 TPA, put up 96 points last season with Las Vegas, and was a menace on defense with 237 hits on his stat sheet. With this MVP performance considered, he very well makes up for the TPA difference with pure grit and fortitude against the other teams. Other players on this roster are excellent in their own regards too, as most of the projected players for Team USA’s defense are also near or at that 200 TPA marker, and will provide much needed VHLM All-Star caliber play to the American’s hopes to make a deep run. The only thing that may hamper this effort is their lack of goaltending depth compared to other teams. As mentioned previously, goalies more times than not make or break a run, but if Connor Hellebuych @HockeyFan4Life can pull out all the stops and put up strong games, Team USA very much has the capacity to upset a few teams and light up the tournament in the scoresheet! Team Asia: Onto the final team of our list, we have Team Asia. It’s not looking good for Asia as it stands, just at face value compared to the other team's potential players. The highest rated player on Team Asia’s potential players would be Petit Hughie @Sen at 262 TPA. While this is a serviceable and good level to be at in terms of the competition, leaning on him to carry the team is going to hurt their efforts in remaining competitive. The only other defenseman on this list is Vladimir Kozlov @vladbatton, and he’s at 199 TPA. This situation could be a bit of a blessing in disguise however, as Team Asia might be able to make up the difference competitively by selecting defensemen from Team Europe or World as they have good depth in those positions. Offensively, they are in a similar rut, both in terms of high TPA earners and in lack of people to actually fill the positions themselves. The team is likely going to look like a mish mash of players from all the other teams in the tournament, so it’s a bit impossible to predict who will make the final roster when they get announced soon. With how deep some teams are in their depths however, Asia might be able to capitalize on this and select them for their own roster, and potentially upset teams with their own players. While Asia has great potential to play spoiler in these regards, expecting a very deep run from them would be ill-advised. That concludes today’s edition of VSN’s coverage of the S92 WJC! We look forward to seeing all the teams final rosters, and hope you enjoyed reading this article on the World Juniors! We’ll see you next time when we cover the Round Robin! For VSN, this is Marcus Svedberg, signing off!
  7. Las Vegas Enters Rebuild in Worst Way Possible (Full disclosure, this is just gonna be a GM vent because I have not properly expressed my disappointment with how the playoffs went yet, so I figured write a media spot and then forget about it LOL) The Las Vegas Aces have lost, getting swept by the Philadelphia Reapers in the Founder's Cup Final. After being projected to be one of, if not, THE favorites to win the Cup, it's safe to say this was a very, very disappointing season for the Aces. This loss stings harder for a multitude of reasons, and we'll get into why shortly, but nobody ever likes getting swept in the playoffs, especially after how well the rest of the playoffs went for the Aces. Dominating performances by Elle Aura Ashe and Piston Maicupp helped keep the Aces dominate in the first two rounds, while point per game paces maintained by Captain Caesar Monterrey, Stinky, and Bric Sheithaus helped compliment the lethal offense in always putting up a high number of goals. My fear from the very beginning of the season however, was goaltending. Both in our own net, as well as the opponents. My fear was that if we got stopped by a brick wall, and weren't able to outscore the other team, that our defense would surrender games easier and the series would become far more competitive. That's exactly what happened against Philadelphia, and facing off against Piffers Jorgen Lovstrom between the pipes. We were just absolutely shut down and there was nothing I could've done to prevent it, it seems. The biggest reason why this loss stings isn't necessarily the loss itself, but what it means for the team moving forward. This was this groups last shot at a Cup, after working our asses off for this over the last 3 seasons and at LEAST half a year IRL. Most of the people on my team are either close friends or family that I know in person, so I know it sucked for them just as hard as it did me to have your final shot at a Founder's Cup go out in a whimper instead of a blaze of glory. It isn't the ending we wanted, and to say that I definitely didn't feel a bit sad even after reading the results of Games 3 & 4 would be an understatement. To my players reading, I apologize if I let you and the team down. We gave it our all, and I am still very proud of what we managed to do. I wish all my players, friends and family, moving onto Europe or retiring from the VHL entirely after this loss the best, and hope to have you guys on the Aces again for another deep run one of these days. Until that happens, however, we're gonna enter a harsh rebuild and try to retool and recoup from the loss, and move on with our careers in the best ways possible. Thank you for reading, fellas!
  8. YOOOOOO THAT’S SICK, THANK YOU MAN!

  10. The jersey number of Stinky @taylorherd is being retired by the Las Vegas Aces. Stinky is the All-Time Aces record holder for: Goals - 144 Points - 306 Game Winning Goals - 27 Shots on Goal - 1261 Stinky was the greatest goal scorer in Aces history, shattering records set decades before his arrival in Las Vegas. His leadership on and off the ice will be a quality greatly missed in Las Vegas, but his legacy will be remembered forever in the rafters of Juan Ceson Arena. A career Ace, Las Vegas will always remember the great runs we went on with Stinky at the helm of it all, and the team will never be able to replace the qualities Stinky brought to the team and fans. It's an honor of mine to be hoisting this jersey number into our rafters, Thank you, Stinky

  12. Review: MAN, this is what graphics are all about dude. Like I don't even know where to begin with this graphic. It is quite honestly one of the best graphics I've seen on the website ever, maybe even ever. That's not even me tryna reach a word cap, like this is genuinely such a fire ass graphic. If the Aces end up winning the Founder's Cup this season, I want to commission you for graphics for the team absolutely. This is FIRE bro!
  13. Live from Juan Ceson Arena, this is Radio Las Vegas, with your host, Marcus Svedberg. Tonight, we have a very special edition of RLV for you to enjoy! History has been made this season, as Stinky, longtime Captain and primary instrument to the potent offense of Las Vegas, has broken several records this season in his quest to get the Aces back to the Founder's Cup Final. This season she put up a solid season, scoring 44 goals and 50 assists for 94 points. While this is usually pretty typical of a maxed out player playing top line time, the significance of this seasons performance outshines the rest, as Stinky broke multiple regular season records. The most prominent obviously being the points record, previously held by Aces legend Juan Ceson. On his quest to solidify the record, she put up a further 15 points to surpass Juan Ceson and become the sole record holder, a record of which she is likely to hold onto for a very, very long time. With this, she also broke the shots on goal record, far surpassing the previous holder of 962 with 1,261 shots of his own, all of which being in the regular season alone! That in mind, it should be no surprise that Stinky also surpassed the goals record, previously held by Mike Szatkowski III with 122, chalking up what will likely be his final total to a whopping 144 goals. To put the cherry on top, she also broke the game winning goals record, solidifying his status as the greatest goal scorer in Aces history. As she's expected to move onto Europe next season, expect a jersey retirement and Aces Hall of Fame induction shortly after the season ends. Next, we have Roy Brown, singing the praises of a Mighty, Mighty Man
  14. Las Vegas Makes Founders Cup Final The Las Vegas Aces have made the Founders Cup Final for the first time since S85, and it's been a remarkable season for the the Aces so far! Let's have a little recap of the season thus far and dive into the path they took to get here! The Aces started this season with a remarkably strong team out the gate, as many players returned from the previous season ready to compete again for a Founders Cup. The return of Bric Sheithaus @Oldhead91, Stinky @taylorherd, Caesar Monterrey @CaptainGatsby, Piston Maicupp @MandyManiac & Elle Aura Ashe @Lynersify have proven instrumental in propelling the Aces up the standings, and providing them a lethal offense that's been ranked as arguably the best in the entire league. With this offensive core carrying the team over the last 3 seasons, the Aces have maintained a competitive and consistent strategy, that is now all cards on the table with a majority of the team leaving for Europe after this season. To this end, the Aces have gone all in, trading picks and players to bolster the roster even more in the offensive category. The acquisition of Annie Oaks @Noodle Enjoyer has proven to be a fruitful one as Oaks put up 95 points this season, 31 of which came in 20 games with the Aces near the trade deadline. This on top of the 100 point season by Elle Aura Ashe and the Ace record setting numbers put up by Stinky has turned heads in the VHL headlines, and poised Las Vegas for a deep run in the playoffs. With that in mind, let's take a look at how the playoffs have gone for Las Vegas and how it might go for them in the Finals! In the first round, the Aces faced off against the Ottawa Lynx, and it was a very competitive series indeed! The Aces started the series up 3-0, off decisive victories obtained by high scoring performances by Stinky and Elle Aura Ashe. The Lynx fought back and made the series a 3-2 competition, but in game six, Piston Maicupp and Elle Aura Ashe put the Aces up 4-2 in the game, and in the series, winning it for Las Vegas. Moving onto Miami, the Aces came in swinging hard, as in the first two games they won 4-2 and 3-2 respectively. In games 3 and 4, the goal scoring stayed above 3 per game, as the final scores of each were 3-1 and 3-2 respectively. With consistent goal scoring like this, it's easy to see how the Aces have managed this push. With their Finals opponent being the Reapers, the Aces are in for a tough series in which every game matters. Whether this offense continues to maintain pace or starts to slow down remains to be seen, but as they are down 2-0 in the series already facing off against an elite goaltender like Jorgen Lovstrom @Pifferfish, they have truly faced off against another juggernaut, and the series could honestly go either which way. We in Las Vegas have faith in our team and our chemistry, and our fans to push for the final stretch in this season, and hope to be hoisting the Founder's Cup over our heads by seasons end! Thank you for reading this *very hastily made* article, and we look forward to seeing you at Game 3 & 4 at Juan Ceson Arena tomorrow!
  15. This is wonderful, I love how in depth you went with each series! Let's go Aces!

You too! Thank you for the excellent negotiations!
  21. Just like the good ol days
  22. Las Vegas has bolstered the best offense in the VHLM for the last two seasons, but has struggled greatly with defense and keeping pucks out of our own net. Most of the people on the Aces are either close friends or family (no joke, they're almost all my referrals LOL) so we all got really good chemistry. All in all, I think your dman would be a great addition to the Aces if you considered us!
  23. I can confidently say writing this whole this article was so much fun, and the more I looked into the team, the more I realized y'all are loaded for a great push! Here's hoping you guys go far in the playoffs! (so long as you don't face Las Vegas in it )
  24. (graphic pending ) VSN Presents: S92 Houston Bulls Deep Dive! Welcome to this week's edition of VSN’s coverage of S92 in the VHLM! Today we got a special one for you, as we’ll be doing a deep dive into the Houston Bulls, covering the success their team has had this season, as well as some individual stories and achievements they’ve had. With all being said, let’s take a look at the Bulls! Let’s start with the basics! The Bulls are enjoying a very comfortable season right now, putting up a respectable 22-13-3 record as of writing this. Having one of the best offenses in the league has certainly helped, with them bolstering a commendable 134 goals for, tied for 4th in the entire league! The defense and goaltending are also very strong and capable of locking down games for them, as they’ve only allowed 122 goals against in an otherwise very offensively skilled S92 so far. They’re definitely one of the teams that benefitted the most from the recruitment drive and massive influx of waiver players in the offseason and first half of the regular season. Depth has been a problem for many teams in the VHLM in recent memory, with last season especially being the highlight of the player drought, where some teams had as few as two or three players rostered TOTAL. With the drive however, the Bulls have been able to roster an entire team's worth of players in all three primary positions, and they have utilized a great deal of varying skills and abilities that have granted them a very good team this season. There’s many factors that play into the Bulls success so far, and many of them will be covered in today’s article, but we at VSN thought it was a good idea to begin doing deep dives into various teams and points in time in the VHLM’s rich and vast history, and cover a team that is very deserving of its own article. Part of this success has been found in their trading and signings, as General Manager @AJW has been hard at work this season to put the best team on the ice as possible! On draft day, AJW made a trade to acquire Miami’s second in the S92 draft for a 3rd and 4th in the same draft. That player ended up becoming Chris Reynolds Jr @Crstats23, who’s put up a very strong two-way game for them, throwing hits, blocking shots, and being an over point-per-game player for Houston! Losing out on Joe Shmo @matt sovick & Onyekachukwu Chidieber Oluwaseun @TenIQ hurts in the short term, as both players are doing great in their own regards, but Chris Reynolds Jr has been a phenomenal player for them, so the trade seems to be working out well thus far! The second trade made by AJW this season was to pick up long-time Aces forward Barry McOckiner @LanerDUST for a S93 3rd round pick. This is a great trade for Houston, as Barry has put up solid seasons with the Aces in the past, including back to back 60+ point seasons, and has definitely contributed up and down the stat sheet for them too. He’s put up a 31 point campaign in the 38 games played so far, as well as being third on the team in hits. His two-way game complements the style of play Houston is going for this season, in which they utilize players with skill on both ends of the ice, and can lock down the opponent wherever they find themselves. Moving along, the Bulls have also been blessed with a large number of quality waiver pickups this season too. Some of the most notable being forwards Nathan Ecker @Nathan_8, & Filip Zinek @FiZi, who’re both putting up great seasons with 10 goals & 17 assists, 13 goals & 11 assists respectively. Defensemen Benjamin Adbenduct @Schnee & Lucy Leitner @LucyXpher were also brought on, who’re both having incredibly strong seasons offensively, with well over a point-per-game seasons being put up by them too. Goaltender Ondrej Vencko @Mutti was also brought in as the primary starting goalie for the Bulls, and has had very clutch games while maintaining a very respectable number of stats in an otherwise very offensively minded league this season, to which he is to be commended for that alone. The ability of AJW to find gems in waivers, and put them in positions to allow them and the team great success has been phenomenal, and will definitely go down as some of the best FA pickups of the season. It’s a very well thought out short term process, but that does raise the question of what it means for the future. Retaining these players that don’t immediately move onto the E after this season should also be a big priority of Houston, and it will be interesting to see how the management team goes about achieving this goal in the coming draft as they only hold 2 picks in the top 30 of S93’s draft class. This in mind, there may have to be a bit of a healthy competition for who earns those two picks between the players, that being Houston doesn’t acquire more picks, or the players aren’t snagged up by other teams looking to emulate Houston this season. Regardless, no competent manager ever goes into the off season without a plan, and the Bulls management team have proven quite well this season at just how well versed they are in the art of team building. Approaching the end of this article, it’d be worth it to predict a bit of how well the team is projected to become with player growth and already existing line chemistry considered. With this remarkably strong team as is though, and Houstons indication that they don’t intend to slow down the improvements at all, I’d expect an all in push to the playoffs, and a very depth filled and experienced team to transition into the future. Houston is certainly a dark horse candidate for the Founder’s Cup, and has every piece needed and then some to make that dream a reality. Players like Trimiskez Artav @jake & Chris Reynolds Jr, the aforementioned defensemen like Lucy Leitner and Benjamin Abenduct, all of them are going to be leaned on especially heavily going into this second half of the season, and already seem to be absolutely thriving under the pressure. The future is incredibly bright for Houston, so I’m personally very excited to see how all the players do, and looking forward to following their careers into the VHLM, the VHLE and VHL proper. All said, the Bulls are a remarkably well run team. AJW & Nathan_8 have put together a very strong team, and are a model example of what a team should look like, both in the standings, as well as in the locker room. Every interaction I’ve had with a member of the management or on ice players has been an absolutely fantastic one, and I definitely find myself being a fan of theirs despite actively general managing against them (oops). With that in mind, here’s to a very successful season for the Bulls!
