  1. While the number one pick in the draft may not have lived up to expectations, Titan Kronos was certainly an integral part of a Riga Reign playoff run that took the league by surprise. Many felt that despite playing in a weaker conference this season, the Reign would not be able to make their way into the post season. Without the weight of high expectations, the Reign were able to go out there and just play some damn hockey this season. For them, it turned out to lead to a lot more wins than people thought was possible from this roster. Titan Kronos did not hold back his excitement when discussing how things went.

It was weird. I thought being drafted first overall would hold a certain weight to it. When my name was called, I thought it meant I was going to have to bust my ass everyday for the next eight years to prove that I was worth where I went. To my surprise, the low expectations for Riga kind of took me under their wing. No one thought I would be a top rookie. Not sure if that was something that had to do with my position or what they felt about my talent, but I didn't mind. We all kind of just shut out the rest of the world and worked on our game plan. In the long run, it benefited us quite a bit

With Riga winning it's first playoff series in ages, fans of the team are optimistic that a cup could be in their future. Kronos feels that as this team continues to produce, the players will come.

Right now everyone is trying to hop on the Legion band wagon while they can. Seems there might be a couple things going on behind the scenes that is kind of immoral in my eyes, but all I can do is go out there and try to beat the teams put in front of me. The run we went on showed that we can do more with less and hopefully it leads to some guys wanting to sign here. This is a smaller FA class and a lot of the guys seems to be trying to claw on to the coattails of a championship team rather than being the one to beat them. Riga is a great place to be and I will be doing my best to try and recruit some players. If all else fails, we just continue to do what we do....stomp on your expectations.

Riga has not seen any success in the FA market this offseason. Kronos offered a promise to those that do eventually decide to come to Riga.

I promise to stay with Riga the rest of my career. This team has shown faith in me and I think that I owe it to them to give them all of my years as a player. I want to bring this franchise a championship.

lol yeah, that doesn't sound like the most skilled team as well :D

I just had a super intense game that went all the way to five rounds on Lijiang. We were so shaky and lost two rounds with 0% progress but ended up winning the game 3-2 after two crazy 99%-99% rounds where we pulled through in what felt like a five minute overtime :)

Still have NBA2k16 sitting around here from PSPlus and want to give that one a try soon, any tips for someone who doesn't really know shit about Basketball?

Learn how to use the shot stick as opposed to pressing square to shoot. The stick allows you to do different kinds of shots and actually control what side of the rim to attempt a lay-up on too. Very useful when you are approaching a center with a non athletic guard because you can opt to Euro or shoot a floater instead of a regular layup.

I would also adjust the shot stick setting to absolute. I've found it's hard to control when the camera shifts and is much more responsive if its set to absolute.

  3. Review: First two paragraphs slightly threw me off too. Not a knock to you at all, just all the words you aren't really used to reading at once group with each other lol. I like when players come into the league with a back story and this gives you a pretty good opportunity to make a great one. Second generation hockey player coming from a team that was forced to disband? Sounds like something you can write about for multiple seasons.

  4. Review: I put a hex on Quebec so good luck winning anything there . I like that this place has been going long enough to where you see good players actually miss the hall of fame. Feel like other leagues are too relaxed when it comes to who gets in and it just doesn't make it feel like an honor.
