I don’t know if it was harder, however it took more effort imo. Also I think being in the same class has definitely motivated me a bit and I’d love to be drafted by the same team if possible to relive the Legion days

Why You Should Draft Me It is extremely early in the VHLm campaign however it is never too early to attempt to make a pitch as to why you should be drafted highly in the Victory Hockey League (VHL). To start this off, let me first comment on my history with the VHL -- I first joined in about S30 or sometime around then when the league was much more difficult to truly earn your TPE. You did not simply receive six TPE because you posted an article longer than 500 words, you were legitimately graded and the feedback truly helped my writing when I was younger. I progressed to a media grader where it was a race to become the "top grader" to earn extra TPE -- something I tried to strive for however it was often times difficult for me to achieve due to my studies. Nonetheless I continued working hard, writing articles in a PT league -- something I never did before as I was truly a SHL type of guy. I ended up being drafted by the Toronto Legion and creating my first (and only) successful VHL player, Teemu Lehtinen. Being completely honest, at the time these types of leagues were a struggle for me back in the day. Writing 500 words now at a high quality was a task for which I needed to be in the perfect mood and after a while I became sick of it. Since then, in 2017 I re-joined the sim league circuits by reconvening on the Simulation Basketball Association (SBA) and have only missed a PT once since August of 2017. When the VHL first had the affiliate welfare with the SBA the league was different, it took days for my player to finally enter the VHLm sim database and I was frustrated and left. Boy have things changed. I must say, I thoroughly enjoy the VHL even though you may not see me write Point Tasks here often. As of this moment I enjoy talking about the successes of my players on another league, compared to the myriad of complex challenges it is currently taking for Teemu Lehtinen Jr. to become a successful hockey player. However everything I had just noted leads to why it is in the best interest of your VHL team to draft me. I understand some of the major earners here are more "sexy" and I expect them to be drafted ahead of me, however when I fell to 18th in the VHLm draft I noticed there must be some form of narrative I must create. Creating Teemu Lehtinen Jr. was something I wanted to do since retiring my first player on the website (or going inactive). I wanted to create a scoring first forward who played great defense and that is something I am in the works of building. I will not guarantee a superstar, however any team that needs a scorer and wants defense (which everyone should) will have to gravitate towards my player. I have tons of experience with STHS, in fact I used to sim in the SMJHL, and I understand how my build right now is not optimized however it is important to look at the final goal, not the current product. I am working to get there, a productive player who scores nearly as often as he assists his teammates. One day I will get there and you will be proud when you integrate my path into your program.

I know it’s possible, just saying it just can’t be done and expect a win. If that happens it’s likely resulting in a loss and I have to be better. Pretty simple

can't score 2 foals and end the game as a minus

Nice little ES goal

Teemu Lehtinen Jr. On Recent Play The past few games have been crazy, I feel as though I may have finally turned a corner by scoring 7 points in the past two games and securing the first star both times. Our coach changed the lines and strategies a little and all of a sudden something clicked on our line. As a pure goal-scorer it was quite interesting as to how I progressed as a playmaker and made key plays to develop goals for our team. We won both games, and I am of the belief that even though the two teams we played against were not elite -- it showcased our ability to be a potential dominant force come playoff time. What I would like to see from myself as the season progresses is that I can become a first star-esque player every time I get on the ice and that my impact looms larger than just scoring. I want to become a force on the defensive end, improve my playmaking to an average ability, and increase my skating and puck handling to an elite level in order to create the best possible scoring possibilities for myself. As we continue throughout this season I trust our GM and team to make a true impact and hopefully win it all.
