  2. The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. [beep] A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. [ding] Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.
  3. The work I put in was using the sugar skull, adding in the crown, get an outline for the two, remove the teeth and add in "MEXICO", add the background and pretty much just fill in the outline. Nothing MAJOR I admit but I did add in a bit of work to it. Hope the steps help!
  4. 1. Personally I feel like all good teams have a point of slowing down and now would be our point of slowing down. I don't feel like we are slowing to a halt but we are losing more games than usual. It's better for us to slow down and lose games now while we're a bit comfortable on the top rather than us being red hot during the regular season and then ice cold during the playoffs. 2. Most likely yes and I feel like we need to focus on winning those games in particular to keep Philly down a peg. If by some miracle they do manage to beat us in those games, it can be good motivation to get back on track and back to being consistent. We want to keep our 1st place no matter what. 3. We want revenge on Vegas, baby. Beat them in the first round and move on, that's what I would like. 4. Protein. Nothing but protein. 5. Definitely the nice list, I hope. I think Santa is gonna see my hits and penalty minutes to decide that one... 6. I'd say spending time with family and making memories, I've always enjoyed getting presents and now as I'm older I get to give back which is truly a blessing I'd say.

  7. 1. I definitely think we can, right now we're doing very good for ourselves to where we're getting aa lead off of Philly. Gotta keep winning games or getting to overtime, any means necessary we gotta get points. 2. At first when the season started we were having issues with close games and shootouts but we definitely have gotten that fixed. I think right now with how we're winning, if it's not broke don't fix it. I know I've been a little weaker compared to the beginning of the season but with how much we've been winning it's better to keep me cold and where I am than fix things up, move me to the second line and we start losing, you know? 3. Nah, I don't think it does. Maybe have it a bit more simple to say, I just call it the Corona Centre... even if it sounds bad out of context. 4. I have a feeling we will, consistency is important for us and I'm sure we'll be able to get another streak going on. Last season we were the Streakbusters and now... Streakholders? We'll get that sorted out. 5. You have no idea how badly I wanna work with Adidas. I'm hoping that by the time I'm in Vancouver I'd get it fixed but even having that deal with the M would be great. 6. Uno. The name is in Spanish and it's the best way to get out any built up aggression on the ice. If we wanna get spicy (no pun intended), we can add a few contract dollars in the mix.

  11. 1. I'm incredibly proud of everyone that is here, we are doing everything right currently. We are getting points, we are winning games, going into overtime and right now we're on a bit of a hot streak. I'm so proud of not only my self but also everyone here, Mexico City deserves a solid team and we sure as hell are doing that. 2. Honestly new guys like Justin Lose and even Hulk Hogan Jr. is greatly impressing me on the ice, even though I wear the A, I like to see others get the stars and succeed so seeing them excel even in games more than me.. it makes me really proud of em. 3. Greatly, yes. Last season I played 40 games and I was just starting out. This season, in only 14 games, less than HALF... I have already passed by goals record and slowly catching up on points and assists. Very happy with how things have gone. 4. Of course, I've said many times before that we push on consistency, when we have a streak going we do our best to keep it going. We played Yukon recently and even though I knew our history against them, everyone didn't take my caution and we end up winning that game. That hype and excitement pushed us for more. Win against Mississauga, win against Houston and now we got Philly and Vegas, two terrifying teams. Who knows what may happen but we are coming in red HOT. 5. I will always push the Yukon vs Mexico City narrative but I think Vegas is more of a rival this season. We both are fighting for the top of the conference and they eliminated us from the playoffs last season. We want revenge and we have slight tension. 6. Anywhere but the place I went when I first came here, no Mexico City water for the boys. We need em on the ice.
  12. 1. I'm incredibly excited man, I mean... this is the first VHLM season where I'm starting off the same time the season begins. I came here the early to middle part of season 74 and I'm already the assistant captain. I'm more than ready for this season, I'm entering this harder than ever. 2. My goals for this year is to complete an entire season with Mexico City, bring them a cup and then join Vancouver in Season 76. Maybe win an award but overall, I want to give Mexico City that push it deserves. 3. Consistency. I've mentioned this before but this is a team that rolls off of momentum, we win one game, we'll win the next. We lose one game, well lets hope we don't lose the next. Our key to success is working on pushing to get points and consistency. If we gotta lose every game in OT, so be it, we need points and we need proof of being worthy for a championship. 4. I've been focusing more on getting chemistry with the new guys along with guys from last season. Of course I've been on Emerson's ass (pause) and want the best for him, especially knowing we're going to Vancouver together. 5. Blood of Zeus has been pretty much what I've been watching, behind these dashing good hockey looks I have my fascinations with Greek mythology and such. Always gotta find good shows when you're on the road and everyone is too tired to communicate. 6. I swear I feel like I was just talking about this... I've gotta say places like Colorado, Detroit, maybe some more cities in Canada need a VHLM team. Plus 75 seasons without a Boston team? As a born and raised New Yorker we need some competition man!

  14. @MattyIce Thank you! I mentioned Montreal in the Thunder Bay & Regina section as I wanted to give less known Canadian cities a chance. Regarding alignment I should have included where teams should go but wanted to keep it open for owners to decide, I will however add some extra detail to it Chamonix (France) and Glasgow (Scotland) should go to the VHL and be part of the European League (duh) VHL has 3 Canadian teams (Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto) while the VHLM has 5 (Yukon, Halifax, Mississauga, Ottawa and Saskatoon) so if there were two new Canadian teams, if you wish to balance it out they should go to the VHL. Which leaves 4 other teams which can go to the VHLM or VHL gets 6, VHLM gets 2 total. However you want em!
  15. 1. Well first thing I gotta say is that it's GREAT to be back! Regarding the team draft I have very good hopes for the future, I mean when I joined during the middle of S74 the team at first wasn't expecting to go far or do much and next thing you know we went into the playoffs. I think now the team morale is to keep pushing for more, to go to the playoffs, to get to the championships, etc. S75's chances are alot more hopeful and focused on than last season. 2. Honestly, it's weird to say this but I think Miami could be the toughest competition. They've made alot of good picks and trades for the draft and I think they're very determined on getting better to defend their championship. 3. Of course! I mean regarding the draft I wanna say San Diego definitely had a good steal by having the first two overall picks in the first round but man I still can't believe Sterling dropped that far in the draft. I wish him the best on Halifax, gonna miss him in the locker room. 4. Winning. Plain and simple, we need to focus on winning. Last season I wanna say we had a bit of inconsistency with either going incredibly well or incredibly bad. I remember the 6 game winning streak and then the 5 game losing streak, the wins against Halifax and Mississauga and then losing to Houston and Minnesota. We need to win games and stay consistent. If we lose we need to lose in a close game or to a higher team and in return we need to demolish worse teams. That's another thing, this playoffs we lost 3 games by 1 goal. We need that push, we need to push ahead and get the game tied, go to OT and get extra points or we need to take the game back. We need to win. 5. Train, keep working on my game, study my mistakes and get better. I think being part of a full VHLM season will help me improve but being drafted may help me too, it'll push me to get things done and get to the big leagues sooner. 6. Semi-productive. I spent a good chunk of time just relaxing and doing absolutely nothing, I admit it. However, I did that on purpose so when I'm ready to train, be active, meet family, practice more and more, I'll be ready to do so. Rest and recover now, work later. Like a pitcher, let me rest for a while, let me slowly warm up and then let me strike em out.
  16. Hello, I go by Jakky on Discord and Jakob Sosa on the ice. I am a brand new competitor in the VHL and currently am part of the Season 75 draft. Ever since joining the league I have greatly enjoyed my stay and learning the ropes along with the history of most teams. One thing I certainly would love for most major sports and including the VHL/M is expanding. With the S75 draft being one of the largest with plenty of prospects being potentially drafted, I have created this post along with some ideas and logos for potential new teams to be included in the VHL and the M. All of these are purely ideas, the logos and names aren’t perfect but at least a starting point for possibly something good to come. No logos are included but ideas are completely open, some teams I have included color schemes aswell. Some teams don’t have a name which leaves the door open for ideas to flow in. Colorado Cutthroats Colorado is one of the coldest locations in the United States and a great location for a new team. The name Colorado basically means “colored red” due to the red sandstone soil of the region and the Colorado river. With that in mind, the jerseys and logo should be red heavy, darker red along with a base red with possibly white, silver or black outlines. The name Cutthroats come from the Greenback Cutthroat trout, the state fish. So with the Colorado River in mind, the fish would be the logo focus and with the name, color and theme it would be a good inclusion into the VHL/M. Chamonix Experts/Black Diamonds One of the weirdest additions but hear me out. Chamonix is a city in France, a city which has 30 Magnus Cup wins since 1923. It is near the junction of France, Switz. and Italy and is most known for it’s skiing mountains. With that in mind, the highest difficulty for skiing would be the two black diamonds which can be incorporated in the logo. The name can be adjusted into French to sound better but is simply a recommendation for a potential name for the team. France is also a great location as it can be a part of the European Conference, French is well known in hockey thanks to Canada and the amount of registers French NHL players is about 22k. Detroit Rocketeers Some of these names are gonna be sketchy, be aware of that. The location is plain and simple, Hockeytown. Detroit doesn’t have a team in the VHL or the M and that needs to change, a perfect location for a dedicated fanbase. The name simply came from “Detroit Rock City” and while the name can certainly be adjusted, Rocketeers doesn’t sound TOO bad to be a part of. Glasgow Guardians The name and location actually came from a custom league I have made myself, with a fitting name and decent location, Glasgow can certainly be an option for another European team to be included. Ice Hockey is apparently one of the most popular indoor sports in Scotland so that certainly can bring motivation to locate a team there! Color scheme used for the Guardians was black, red and dark green. Boston One of the most known cities in the United States, a massive rival to New York and one of the most decorative locations for sports and somehow it doesn’t have a VHL or VHLM team. Boston has plenty of history and possibilities when it comes to names, I’ve used “Boston Blues” because of the House of Blues origin, Boston Redcoats and more. Even if the name is simple like “Lions, Tigers, Bears (oh my!)” the location is certainly a top priority for expansion. Thunder Bay & Regina I wanted to include two Canadian cities into this list to not only balance out the size of the league for conferences but to also give diversity in certain areas. While Quebec and Montreal are two well known cities that don’t have a team, I wanted to pick other Canadian cities instead of the popularly known. Thunder Bay and Regina are well known for producing several hockey players in it’s population from well known such as the Staal brothers to Ryan Getzlaf, Jordan Eberle and more. With that in mind, having those two cities have their own team would be perfect production for more stars to come. Atlanta Yes, I know but third times the charm! With two previous franchises in the NHL and plenty of teams in other major sports, including Atlanta into the VHL can certainly be a possibility for an extra team. Now whether they choke by 28-3 or 3-1 is up to them but giving them the opportunity to have a team here is always a possibility. There you have it, 8 locations for 8 potential teams for the VHL and VHLM, whether that turns the team list from 16:12 to 20:16 or 18:18, all of these can be possible. These are all ideas and I would love to know your opinion on some of these locations, team names and more. With more people coming in, instead of leaving more Free Agents hung out to dry or overflowing teams, this can be a possibility for the future.
