  1. Voted! I’ll always pitch Chamonix and Glasgow but I’m very excited for how the league will turn out!

  9. 1. I feel like the management did a very good job with the draft, filled any holes and solved all the issues needed. 2. I gotta say honestly, Emerson would have to be. Been with him since the Mexico City Kings days so being able to compete with him is great honestly. 3. Trading away Su was hard, he was very VERY helpful to the team but in order to keep the pistons moving and keep the team moving along, we needed to part ways. I liked it because it shows that the team is willing to do what it takes for the future and more. 4. I'd prefer keeping some team dislikes to myself, honestly. The deal wasn't terrible but it certainly has it's up and downs, that's the hard part bout hockey transactions. 5. My favorite hockey player is actually Marc-Andre Fleury, when I got into hockey was when the Knights were an official team so to see how big of an impact he made for them is quite incredible actually. 6. After a game and during travel I always try to eat small so when it's time to rest and have a full meal I'll eat big. I'd say it's usually like a chocolate chip granola bar, keeping the sweets but staying healthy aswell.
  10. Weekly Press Conference - Halifax 21st - Week Ending May 23rd, 2021 1: Season 78 of the VHLM is starting up in a few days, what are your goals for this season? 2: Is there other sports you enjoy to play or watch? Or is hockey all day, every day in your life? 3: There are only a few Canadian teams in the VHL and the VHLM, if expansion we're to occur would you prefer more Canadian teams to rival against or spread out more around the world? 4: Any special hockey rituals you have before a game? 5: What is one thing you love about your team that you'd be willing to share? 6: Name three items you always carry with you while traveling between games.

  12. 1. Of course every team deserves a championship, hockey is one of the hardest sports to earn it and while Seattle is our rival, I certainly give credit where it's due and believe they deserved it. That's their 12 championship, can't help but respect that for sure. 2. I always believe the Wolves will grow to get contention for a cup but I believe Warsaw will have enough of being too close to success and go all out in the off-season. 3. Something gives me that feeling that Seattle could step back just like Malmo did after winning their championship but I also feel like Los Angeles could as well. 4. It's certainly a trap but that's not gonna stop our players for sure, especially me I'm snatching those fries away immediately. 6. I feel like the Nintendo Switch is usually the best option for us, simply because of it's convenience with travel for our road trips. 8. I cheer for the Mexico City Kings, they're the team that took me under their wing when I first came into the league and the team I stuck with my entire time in the VHLM. It was a shame we didn't win the cup when I was in Mexico but I'm proud of them for finally winning it in Season 76.
  13. Weekly Press Conference - Halifax 21st - Week Ending May 16th, 2021 1: After making it to the final four in the Season 77 VHLM Playoffs, what steps do you think we need to push further and make it to the Founder's Cup Finals? 2: The VHLM draft is arriving soon, giving chance for new members to join the team. Who do you think would look good in a Halifax jersey and be a good potential teammate? 3: What do you love the most about the city of Halifax? 4: In the 16 years of existence Halifax hasn't won a championship yet, once we win the Founder's Cup, how should the team celebrate their victory? 5: What other VHLM team would you say is the most fun to play against? 6: What is your off-season plans and how do you intend on preparing for the upcoming season?
  14. 1. I definitely won't forget how crazy of a season this was, the win streaks, the losing streaks, the records and high scores everyone on the team broke. I'll say this, it felt really good ending the season with that 3 game winning streak and having Emerson come in after enough rest to finish it off. 2. I hope to keep improving my stats season by season, I hope to hopefully go up in the lines and I simply hope to do some good for Vancouver next season. 3. I usually help myself when it comes to solo stuff like that, better to let me touch my own things and let the guys do theirs as well. It's good help and there's certainly some good people here to help out, however when it comes to stuff out the locker rooms... Lone Wolf mentality. 4. Change, Change, Change. When we keep losing, we change the lines, when we're red hot we can keep things the same but we certainly need to change things up more often when things don't work out. Possibly start trading a bit more for smaller acquisitions like picks and lower line people to boost up the depth. 5. Usually you would either cheer for the person who took you out to go all the way or for them to be eliminated as soon as possible. Personally I would want the Stars to win the cup, I remember for quite sometime the team being at the bottom of the standings, not doing well and now they're in the playoffs... You can't help but be proud for them honestly. 6. Well with the season over, it's time to relax a little bit. Sit back and junk out for a bit before getting back into the swing of things when the next season begins. Gonna get my hands on some M&M's possibly.
  15. 1. Taro Tsujimoto. He's ranked as the top guy in my draft class and I personally would love to see his efforts on the ice from a teammate perspective instead of opponent. 2. Chicago Phoenix at the moment. We handled Seattle and D.C. now we want revenge against Chicago. 4. Tater Tot definitely showed a lot of improvement this year and I'm quite proud of the efforts he put in for this team. 5. I definitely want to score a lot more, I want to help the team out in any way that I can and I feel like I could simply do better in that department. Luckily, I've been scoring a bit more than last season but I want to definitely up my numbers more and more. 6. Favorite type would have to be stuff like snacks, I do my best to eat healthy throughout my day but having a snack or something small when travelling or late at night is always good. Stuff like pretzels, granola bars, etc. 7. There's plenty of ideas but I would say for hockey equipment I'd go with Bauer for sure but I'm also a big adidas guy myself so those two would be my picks.
  16. At the end of Season 57, the VHL cut two teams from the league, the Cologne Express and the Stockholm Vikings. In this reality, these teams were not removed, stayed with the same names and locations and made it to the continental cup finals. The league format would center around 18 teams instead of our present day 16. Graphic: https://gyazo.com/4a4e56fe722c8c6c4901cb44ca6a40c3
  17. 1. To prepare for the end of the season I've been putting in more work on improving myself, making sure I train more often and make a point to get better in the hopes of reaching the postseason again. I also focus more heavily on any good luck charms, for instance wearing a certain hat coming to the arena while going on a winning streak and more. If it can transfer over luck then I'll gladly take it. 3. Shows like Avatar the Last Airbender and Legend of Korra currently, good remembrance of my childhood growing up and very entertaining stuff to look back on and feel that nostalgia. 5. I've always had the idea of the Vancouver Reindeers before I came here. I definitely enjoy the team's name, colors and more but i feel like Reindeers is a more... unique name? That's the best way I can put it. 6. We literally have a dude on the team named Tater Tot, you can guess which one on the team makes the best taters. 7. I listen to rap, rock, metal, alternative.. I usually listen to anything in general, I'm open when it comes to music but before games I listen to stuff that hypes me and the team up or a song that has been stuck in my head. 8. Vancouver Wolves. We look shaky now but we have chances of making playoffs. I want to focus on us and only us on winning. No other team unless we get eliminated.
  18. 1. My performance can certainly be better, I'll be honest. I'm looking at the pros and cons with my performance and I would at least hope to say that I could have more goals this season than last if I keep up the pace with my performance. I can be better in other places however. 2. Right now, I expected more. We are currently under .500, losing to bad teams despite our talent and now in the playoff run. With some change I can definitely see us back on track, alive and kicking. I expected another offseason appearance and I'm hoping we can get there. 3. I've always believed Sandstrom can be a captain for our team, he's gonna be in Vancouver for a long time and he's been one of our best performing players on the team. 4. I would say prospects in the Vancouver system like Li would be someone, I was in his shoes being a rookie coming to the big leagues soon and I would want to get chemistry working along with tips of how different the VHL is from the VHLM. 5. Branding wise, I would say Moscow does. Everywhere I see people chanting the city name and they show pride in their team, team name is catchy and things seem to work for em. 7. I feel like being a defenseman would be quite fun, would be less pressure than being a forward and I would have certain things to focus on. However, I enjoy my position of being a center.
  19. 1. I'll be honest. Not very good. I feel like I could've contributed a bit more to the team but haven't done so, I think I'm starting to get the hang of things but there has been several games where I've been more of a reason than a helper. 2. Disappointed. I'm not afraid to say when I'm doing bad even if the team is doing good, I can do better than what I'm producing on the ice and that's a fact. 3. The season isn't over until it's over. I like our chances as we're a .500 team with good pieces but strange mixes, we can get things done and make playoffs. I truly believe in that. 4. Emerson for sure. He's a great guy and I understand the GM's intentions of making it a 50-50 season with him and Tot, he's a talented kid and showed plenty of heart last season when Spyro had his off days. 5. As easy as it is to say D.C. or Seattle, I would want something different. Wolves versus Titans for an outdoor game. Rematch of the Season 74 Championship. 8. As much as I would pick something from my personal playlist I usually pick something everyone can get with. Whether it's a good rock song or something alternative. Most of the time I get the AUX in the locker room I put something to hype people up, pre-game rituals ya know?

  21. 2. First few things I did was to polish up on anything I believe was left unfinished, worked on scoring and my puck handling skills. Soon I intend to work on more defense and my strength aswell. 3. I did my usual but I wanna say I rested more due to the extended offseason. Rested and healed up my body so I can be alive and kicking once it was time to get back in shape. 5. Definitely listening to music, anything to pump me up and get me rolling. During the skate around I try giving myself challenges to do like aiming in a certain area or doing a certain number of a task. Anything to get me focused and get me hyper. 6. I feel like before it was the Bears and the Dragons which we handled very well last season, this season I want to get revenge on the defending champions. Chicago. 7. I hope to change the slumps I had last season. I feel like last season there was a long stretch of time where I would get nothing on the score sheet and then maybe once in a blue moon get a point or something beneficial to the Wolves. I want to be more useful and hopefully get more time working as a center. 8. As a prospect the best thing for me to recommend would be to keep working and keep pushing. If you spend an entire season in the VHLM that's perfectly fine. Enjoy your time there and work on getting better and better each day, it's truly worth it when you push forward and get better.
  22. 1. I would say the best memory of the GM would be me getting drafted to the Wolves. I remember him bringing me into the pack and simply just being a part of the major league team while being a decent minor league prospect. It meant the world to me and I'm grateful he gave a chance on me to be a part of the hockey club. 3. Truthfully I try to focus more so on myself and let the front office do what they please, I don't have that much choice in regards to who the new boss is so it's better for me to focus on improvements and whoever comes in we'll work from there. 4. My perfect linemates would have to be guys like Chris Reynolds or even people like Justin Lose who make great plays, not the head of the league but still a very useful piece for the team. Those that can score and get the job done. 5. I enjoy some leg workouts in the offseason, another thing would be stuff on the treadmill. Work on stamina and speed. 6. My mindset during a game is to feel dominant and do help. Get the mindset of holding the team back from scoring or doing anything and when we're in their zone to do EVERYTHING in our power to score. Pre-Game I listen to music to hype me and the others up. Metal works sometimes. 7. The best piece of advice my parents gave me was that it's okay to fail as long as you're able to get back up and do better. It gave me a good attitude or feeling if I failed a test that I can do better than that, when you get knocked down you have to get back up. Can't stay at rock bottom forever.
  23. Both teams here I have suggested as potential teams for future VHL franchises: Glasgow Guardians and Chamonix Black Diamonds. I have ran both teams with VHL/M players in the offseason event: VHL Pro-Am. https://gyazo.com/6372e7b47a6a29cf6e93d74c0a338913 https://gyazo.com/599bf9b1f7c98dd82c919a2890e93f82
