  5. Rookie's all over the league are doing everything they can to prove to their VHL teams that they made the right choice drafting them. Training camp just started, and the young guns are working hard at it. From pull-ups, to bench-press, and 40-yard sprints to vertical jumps, the VHL GM's are trying to see just how tough, talented, and hard working there draft picks are. The activities are taking place over the course of 3 days at the combine bubble, located in Toronto, Ontario. Apparently the work outs are great, and the food is even better. Jay Saucey weighed in at 220lbs at his physical. That's a lot of meat on the bones for a guy who's 5' 6"! When asked about training camp, Saucey had this to say: With training camp coming to a close, and the VHL, VHLE, and VHLM drafts complete, the players are excited to get on the ice. The seasons just around the corner, and the players have more skills and conditioning to bring to the table on puck drop.
  6. Carbs on carbs! Gotta thank my Nonna for all that Thiccness.
  7. 1. Absolutely! I'm stoked to get more ice time this year. 2. Championship team. Manifesting it into existence. 3. Miami baby 4. Praying on my ex-teams downfall. SSK. 5. Charles. 6. Best logo, best jerseys, best swagger, best locker room, and soon to be best team on paper and the ice.
  8. This is basically a selfie. Jay Saucey is just tooo damn saucey.
  9. Originally Florida Panthers jerseys, complete re-colour. Thanks a bunch for the response!
  10. After being drafted by the LA Stars 38th overall, Jay Saucey wasted no time getting in the Black and Silver gear.
  11. Thanks a bunch everybody! I appreciate the responses, and kind words. More to come soon!
  12. It's definitely a pain Thanks Shin! I'll make you one up one of these days!
  13. Jay Saucey (pictured) makes a big save in his Bratislava exhibition debut. At pick 36, Jay Saucey feels he was a steal in the VHLE draft, and said he's looking forward to getting on the ice with the Watchmen next season.
  14. Fans were looking forward to the Junior Showcase Tournament, and the players didn't disappoint. With the JST wrapped up, fans were blessed with seeing some of the brightest young talent on the come up. Goals, saves, dekes, passes - and a lot of fights - were just some of the highlights seen over the 28 game schedule. But day one was a day of fights. Teams trying to establish themselves? Scare the competition? Well, mission failed. No team, no player backed out in the day one bouts... and there was a ton of them. Game 1, the opener of the season, started with the Steel and Brigade accumulating 14 fights in 4-2 Steel win. The teams stacked up 280 penalty minutes combined (there's only 60 minutes in hockey game fyi)! It looked like a UFC match with no winner. Steel win the fight? Brigade player starts the next fight. Brigade player wins the fight? Another Steel player was there to give him round 2. It was bloodbath, and these kids parents must have been worried. Game 2 featured the Clue hosting the Royals, and it sure started hot. Clue leading scorer and team MVP, Eldon Escobar, threw the mitts down only 11 seconds in. After 8 more fights, 76 shots and 5 goals, the game ended in a 3-2 Royal win. The fights slowed down as the tournament progressed but the hype built. The Warriors were crowned S81 JST champions, but no team went out without a FIGHT. If some of these kids don't make it to the league, Dana White might want to get in contact with them.
  15. 1. It was a pleasant surprise, although I was hoping for even better results. 2. Eldon Escobar. Bro can bury a puck. 3. TPE earnings!! My GM literally blessed me. Gained 40 something TPE in 3 weeks. 4. Loved it! The whole team had amazing energy in the LR all season. I'd be surprised if we weren't the most active. 5. Brutal. I wasn't happy with my performance. Sometimes you need to have that 0.950+ save %, and I just couldn't make that happen for the finals. 6. Probably not. My GMs set the bar really high for me in terms of management, and I just don't think I have the time nor skill/training yet to do so. Maybe in the distant future.
  16. Quick graphic for the results!
  17. With the first overall pick, the New York Americans select ___________! Who you got going first overall?
  18. The Clue were firing on all cylinders at yesterdays game against the Warriors, and the same is true with Jay Sauce! Can the Clue keep games like this consistent? Find out at 1PM EST, as the Clue tackle 4 games today. *FILE SIZE TOO BIG, PLEASE SEE ATTACHED LINK* https://imgur.com/a/pH8EY04
