While these teams couldn't get a gold medal, they can still take home the consolation prize: a bronze medal. This is Team Europe vs Team Asia in the S94 Worlds juniors. The first period was a calm one with no goals scored despite plenty of penalties being given. This was the calm before the storm has the second period saw 3 goals. Including one only seconds into it when Team Europe opened the score on the power play after 6 seconds. Team Asia quickly used a reverse card scoring a power play goal of their own just 2 minutes later. They followed that with another goal later on in the period taking the lead 2-1 by the time the second period ended. With 20 minutes left Team Europe desperately needed a goal. They knew that and went all in with a very offensive power play in the last few minutes. Sadly for them, this backfired and Team Asia scored while short-handed to put the nail in the coffin of Europe. Team Asia wins 3-1 despite the shots being 53 to 32 for Europe. It is safe to say Roger Eagles' incredible 52 save game stole the show

In the gold medal game of the S94 World juniors, Team world was up against Team Canada. This very crucial game was dictated by special teams, i'm sure the coaches won't be very happy with those penalties which ended up leading to 50% of the goals being scored on the power play. This tendency started in the first period when Team World scored on the power play thanks to Dwight Schcrute. That was the only goal of the period. Team world doubled there lead in the second period making the score 2-0 Team world after yet another power play goal. I'm sure Canada's coach disciplined his troups, you can't take stupid penalties when you're in the final and now they're down by two. It worked, Canada bounced back in a spectacular fashion with 4 goals unanswered leading to the final score being 4-2 for them. A comeback signed Canada to win gold

Running out of Graphic ideas ? Start a series ! I'm sure some of us have probably once reached a point where we wanted to make a graphic for a point task, but didn't have any idea what to do. Well, there's an easy solution to that ! The name of the article pretty much reveals everything, you've guessed it: I suggest starting a series / collection. That way, every week when you prepare to do your point task graphic, you already have an idea to build upon. You will save yourself minutes of reflexion for a while ! There's plenty of different ideas you could pick from, i'll even provide a couple later. I also find that it's an awesome way to link all of your work together on the forum. Personally, I love going trough people's portfolio and seeing a tendency, a concept etc. it makes me interested in keeping up with the next graphic in the theme and exploring the entire series. It is something that can be associated to you, other members might remember those and go "Oh [insert member name], that's the person that does [insert series]" which in return could help you connect more with other members who recognizes you from that and causes you to stand out in a way. Being associated to something will make people remember you more and if your goal on the forum is to interact with a bunch of people and socialize this helps a lot. It's kinda been a thing for me with my VLG'ed Gifs back when I did them. It is like an adventure, an objective, etc. I've decided to start one myself, i'll be replacing album covers with VHL related graphics. My media spot for the week is the first inning based on DAMN. by Kendrick Lamar. When I mentionned that possibilities were endless, it's an understatement. So many routes and even for one particular route there's other small branch depending on what you choose to do ( different persons, teams, etc.). Here's a list of ideas i've thought about in just a couple minutes of reflexion - a player on vacations ( every edition he's infront of another city / monument ) - Hockey / HUT cards - Mascots - Captains (a graphic of every team's captain with like a massive C and each week you do a different team's captain) - Goalie masks - Logo redesign - Draft graphic ( for every player you put the team they were drafted by, draft position, etc. and complete the draft class/ round) - Legend ( a graphic of every team's legend ( one or many)) And that's just a few !

One of the story about his life is actually one that's true about me, I'm letting you all guess which one it is

The Boy from St. Vincent and the Grenadines ready to take over the VHL In the world of sports, there's a popular expression that says `` The streets will never forget [insert name of a decent player that was never THE star and never set records ]. `` It means that the people who followed the sport at the time will remember the player because they were memorable and touched them, but after a couple years people won't remember them because that player isn't hall of fame worthy. The player couldn't write their name in the hall but they wrote their name in fan's hearts. A ``You had to be there`` thing you know ? A good example of that is Linsanity in the NBA. In hockey, an example would be Alexei Kovalev. For Christopher Columbus, it was Vincent Laroche-Gagnier. This is why he decided to name an island St. Vincent. This made it so an otherwise not so remembered player became the most talked about player in a small island in the eastern Caribbean. The kids heard and some saw the story of the Quebec winger, his cup winning goal in the Minors for the San Diego Marlins in S86, his Continental cup win in his very first season in the VHL with the Calgary Wranglers in S87, the road back to glory with another Continental cup this time with the DC Dragons in S92 etc. The story of a talented player who reached the clouds, but failed to reach the moon that he was destined to reach. When young Wefernardo Mackingikus saw it play out, he was super happy with the over a point per game career his idol had, but he could not help but feel sad that ``VLG`` was never written in the Hall of Fame or on any individual hardware. However, this tale gave the kid all the motivation to write his own book and add the final chapter that Vincent never wrote ``Hall of fame`` ( VLG should've read a book called ``How to not go IA in the middle of your career`` to learn how to write that chapter). Wefernardo obviously modeled his game after the former Dragons captain. Which means that he became a goal scoring winger who's somewhat good all around. The difference is that the re-gen decided to become a right winger instead of arboring the left wing. Outside of hockey, Mackingikus always had a certain passion for music and does a lot of producing on his free time, altough he hasn't been able to sell a single beat yet because of the clear obvious exagerrated use of cowbells in them. Drake did try texting him once, but we doubt it was to get one of Wefernardo Mackingikus' creations. While he is not a pirate, Wefernardo did once go on a boat around the Caribbean. The motive behind it was extremely stupid and he knew it, but he didn't care! The goal of that trip was to see if he could survive the Bermuda triangle. This isn't the only utterly random side quests that the St. Vincent native did so far in his 17 years on earth, all of them justified by the claim that he ``lives for the plot``. The day he got his driver's license, the teenager decided to see how long he could drive in a roundabout before he was forced to stop. The answer ? 5 hours, 43 minutes and exactly 23 seconds. For a year, Wefernardo sneaked in the chimpanzee's enclosure every day to teach them about economy, currency, trading etc. It worked, the chimps created their own money and were also trading food, provisions, etc. Then for the next 3 months, he continued sneaking in, this time to teach them proper capitalism. Sadly, it worked again. Even sadder, he wasn't done... For the following 7 months, the story repeated, every day like clockwork he would go in the chimpanzee's enclosure. This time, he teached them gambling. It worked, so he made them gamble all their food, money and belongings; they lost everything to him. Because of that, PETA decided to sue Wefernardo Mackingikus. He didn't show up at the trial, he simply left a video that said ``Honestly, the zoo should've simply re-enforced their security it's legit not my fault y'all, hustle is hustle. Hate the game not the player.`` then he illegally immigrated to the United States trough Mexico, leaving his home country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. However, he didn't stay in the USA very long. It was mostly only for the joke of illegally immigrating trough Mexico. You know, ``living for the plot``. Wefernardo only attented the Nathan's hot-dog eating contest to see Joey Chestnut absolutely destroy his opponents before moving up the border, following the footsteps of his idol: to the iconic french speaking province of Canada. After graduating high school in Quebec, he opted to go in law in cegep. He was only a month away from starting his first session when he decided to uncommit and declare himself for the VHLM draft. Only 2 days away from the draft, where will this youngster on a mission end up ?
