Grog Strongjaw is hosting DND night once a week. A Grog DND Experience. 1. Round 1, game 7 is ahead of us. How confident are/were (if you're answering this later) that we can get past the Steel? it seems like both teams are evenly matched. I am not conident nor not confident. Its in the hands of the AI Gods. 2. What could be the biggest X-Factor in the game 7 and possibly in the finals? Whether it's a player, a line, a special unit, a trait...anything and everything. defense 3. The Warriors-Royals series is heading to game 7 as well. Which one of these would you prefer to face in the finals? it doesn't matter, truthfully to me, I am just glad to be in the playoffs haha 4. In your opinion, who has been our playoff MVP so far? Marauders Presser week ending October 13th 2024 1. What is your players work out routine during the offseason? Eat, Poop, Missing Pike, and lifting everything I see. 2. During the offseason, does your player stick to their normal meal plans or do they have more cheat days? What is their fave cheat meal? Grog eats everything he can and he drinks A LOT of ale as much as he can. 3. The team is planning an offseason team trip. What would be your ideal destination? Grog doesn't know this realm. He would chose white stone. 4. The team is hosting a fan event before the start of next season. Are you more of an autograph person or a photo person? Grog can't write very well but with ale, he can be a great picture giant. 5. What is one thing you like about the Victory Hockey League? How welcoming you and others were to me. 6. What is one improvement you would suggest for the league? Honestly, from my heart and not grog, no idea. I am too new to notice this yet.

I want to thank everyone in the VHL for making my new experience into the realm of sim leagues very fun. Also, experiencing the draft was great as well. I loved the fact I went in the 3rd round, To Miami. I enjoyed a lot of the draft show with the commentary. I really had no idea where I would go as my TPE was low, due to joining a week ago. But I was hoping a few teams would know I am a gem, and will be MUCH better than a 3rd rounder. Which tbh, this is perfect, draft high earners early and then get grog who will earn later on and your team will be much better. I want to thank ricer especially, for making me feel welcomed immediately and recruiting me for Yukon Rush in the Junior league and even drafting me to Miami! This really isn't an article, just a heart to heart from Grog.

Grog, in a new area, sees a stick on the ground near his feet and picks it up and looks at the people playing hockey on the ice. “They all are using this stick” he thinks, “My weapon didn’t transfer over to this realm, I will need something to defend myself just in case this goes wrong.” A skater notices this massive giant and stops what he is doing and skates up to where grog is standing. “Hey, are you lost?” “I think I am, I was with pike and boom, Now I am cold.” “Well, My names Ricer, I help manage hockey teams and have an extremely good reputation in winning in the VHL, and looking at you, your size, I could use your talent.” “Nice to meet you rice man, My name is Grog. Do you make rice too? I am kinda hungry.” “Not exactly, but step on the ice big guy, let’s see what kind of skills you have.” Grog shrugs and steps on the ice and immediately due to his strength, weight, and muscles, he breaks the ice and sinks in. “Oh this not good.” Grog says. “I think I know the issue, Your strength and boots, are very heavy, here, try this on.” Ricer replies. Ricer hands Grog a massive pair of ice skates. “You want me to kill the people here with these blades?” “NO!!! These go on your feet like your boots, but the blades help you glide on the ice without putting so much weight in one area.” “I miss pickey already, okay, I don’t trust you or know you but I will put these on.” Grog puts on the skates and falls, another bigger hole builds. But Grog gets up and starts to skate slowly around and it seems like, although slow, he is slowly getting the hang of it. “Look at meeeeee!!!!!! I go Weeeeeee”. Grog said gliding with the biggest smile on his giant face. Without realizing that he doesn’t know how to stop, he crashes into the boards and completely destroys it making a grog size hole of destruction. “Whoops, I think I may need some practice.” Grog Ricer helps grog up and says, “I could use you in the junior showcase if you are willing. It’s a team called the Yukon Rush. I don’t expect you to be good, because it takes a lot pf practice, but I could use your size and strength.” Grog stands up from his crash and looks sad “What’s wrong grog?” “I just, I miss my friends already.” “Don’t worry, We are your new friends and I am sure your other friends will find you soon enough!” Ricer shows grog a black disc thing and grog looks very confused. “The stick in your hand, it’s called a hockey stick. You see how we move this black thing called a puck around with it, in hockey you cant use your hands or legs. Well, mostly. This stick is how you move the puck, pass the puck to your team mates and shoot.” “II don’t think this weak stick can shoot. Percy isn’t here and it doesn’t look like it can hold bullets.” “No.. not… ugh…”. Ricer puts his head down shaking his head, “Grog, in hockey, shooting is what we call when we take the stick, and hit the puck with it to score. Watch me.” Ricer takes the puck and uses his hockey stick to dangle the puck and skates closer to the goalie. He takes a shot and its blocked. “This is called shooting. Now you try.” Grog takes his stick and slowly moves towards the goalie with the puck. He picks up speed and realizes, again, he can’t stop well. Grog tries to shoot the puck but misses and crashes right into the goalie and the hockey net and chaos ensues. We see the goalie and Grog on the ground looking hurt. “I can tell this will take some time for you to learn.” Ricer says. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Special Thanks to @Ricer13 for being the first person to welcome me into the league and putting me on the Rush.

1. I blame those losses on me. They only happened the minute I joined. I take full responsibility due to being new. 2. Ricer was the very first person to talk to me when I joined. I am glad he is our goalie regardless backup or not. He seems very knowledgeable, and I believe he has been here for a long time. I feel very comfortable with our full setup. 3. I think he will easily be a top 3 draft pick. 4. 7th 5. I will tell him not to worry, its a sim league, his body resets every game haha but seriously, if this was real, I would tell him to buy a hot tub. Gonna need those cold baths. 6. No words. Authors note: I have a lot planned for this character if you are into fantasy mixed with sports. I am writing this because my character is based on the legend of vox machina, which is a great fantasy story with dragons etc. I thought it would be different and fun to write this story, as it adds more depth to the possibilities this league can provide. Stay tuned for ep 2 to see how grog tries to understand that a hockey stick is not a weapon, but confused that blades on your feet isn't either. Hello, everyone. My name is Grog Strongjaw, and Grog Strongjaw comes from Vox Machina, which is a D&D game that turned into an Amazon Prime TV show. This will be a fan-fiction series by me, which will show how Grog enters the VHL. Lol, it is a bit ridiculous, but this is what makes the VHL fun. You can be whoever you want to be. Grog, poking at the fire with his axe, muttered, "I wonder what happened to my parents, Pike. I ain't never known them." Pike looked at him. “Oh, buddies. No matter what happened or happens, I am always here for you.” “I know, Pikey. Just... most of my life I was haunted by my tribe’s leader from the Horde of Storms. Now that I’ve released them from Kevdak, I want to know who my parents are.” “I feel your pain, Grog. You know if I could do something, I would. Uh... I feel—" Her eyes suddenly narrowed as a strange feeling washed over her. A shimmering light began to form just behind Grog, growing brighter and brighter. She stood up, recognizing it immediately. "Grog, I think the Everlight is guiding you." Grog blinked, glancing over his shoulder at the glowing portal. "Oh, why would the Everlight want me? I ain't good at that spiritual stuff.” Pike smiled softly, resting a hand on his massive shoulder. “This isn't about that, buddies. This is your journey, Grog. Through that portal, you'll find answers about your parents.” Grog's eyes widened. He stood. “I'll do it, buddies. I'll find them. But... I can't go without you.” “I will always be with you, bro, through the Everlight. No matter what happens, she will guide me to you.” Grog gave her a nod and entered the portal. All of a sudden, he ended up in a very cold atmosphere. There was ice on the ground and some kind of boards surrounding it. He looked around and saw two teams playing. Grog thought to himself, “That's a lot of enemies.” He saw this weird stick-looking thing and grabbed it. “I need some kind of weapon,” Grog thought to himself. This is not written by AI, and I was told specifically to not do that. I wrote this and I plan on writing a series about my character entering in the REALM of VHL as Grog Strongjaw. This is only 393 words but I thought honestly if I forced the story to go over 500 it wouldn't be as good.

No I have no experience in anything VHL related but it sounds really fun! I read about this league from reddit while searching for sim leagues to join because truthfully I dont own a gaming system and I work too much even if I did so I figured joining a sim league will help my "sport games shakes" I believe I joined late so I don't expect much right now for Grog but that is okay! To win it all! I have no clue where I will be drafted but that's okay. I am just glad to be part of it. Probably my name more than anything since Grog is so new he doesn't have much skill yet.
