Couldn't agree more!!! Got lucky with the font it was like the 3rd or 4th one I tried didn't need to try more after that
-
Had the same thought about the jerseys once I got it finished as well! Thank you for the feedback !! Much appreciated!!

Super stoked on the team @Ricer13 has put together for the season! Hoping for everyone to have a big year here in Miami!!
-
Great recap and great read!! Can't wait for this season to get underway!!

1. Definitely has been long! Been really looking forward to my first full season! Very eager to see how Miami does this season!!! 2. I would like to think Chicago did okay with what they did! To be fair it can't get much much worse, so anything helps! Very happy they got Knight though! 3. I think Marchand to Florida was not expected ! I understand Boston wanting to re build but sending him to Florida I didn't think would happen. Will be cool to see how that shakes out come playoffs 4. Unfortunately I missed it. Congrats to everyone that won! And from everything I've read it seems like lucy did a great job! 5. Most definitely! I think it would be cool to have Mantzz make it there with all the greats someday! 6. I think it would be awesome to see that! More games the better if you ask me
-
For sure !!!

Well I didn't really plan on doing 6-10 but that was kind of fun! That being said let's get into it! 6. Saskatoon Wild I know in my last article I mentioned the Wild getting Mancini as well. Since writing that maybe I let my bias of sharing a locker room with this guy take over, and to me I think it makes more sense for them due to only having 1 defensemen (if they go D at 4). All that being said I believe the Wild will go with another D man Additional Pylons @courtjestr19. I know I said bias but the reality is Pylons is a very hungry guy willing to earn all the tpe, and he is also a great locker room guy! The 6'7" 250 pound defensemen joined late in the year and played 4 games in Miami finishing +2 in +/-. During that time Pylons has earned 168 tpe and from my experience with him I think he will be a max earner for his career Paired up with a 6'8" Tzesar that will be a scary combination for opposing teams to face in the coming years 7. San Diego Marlins Sitting at 7 is San Diego who like Huston faces an issue with not having a goalie. With 3 goalies in the same range of picks I think they could go with a different position here and I think they will do just that by taking center Zara Wolf! @Banackock this 6'1" 196 pound Canadian is ran by @Banackock who's name I see A LOT be it the forum or reddit. Again being my first year I don't know other peoples past players but my gut tells me wolf is gonna be a consistent max earner and hall of famer. I might even be disrespectful in having him this far down. I think wolff being on a line with Cardinal Copia who is ran by another name I see A LOT @Beketov will be a dangerous combination for teams to go against this year making San Diego a top contender! 8. Halifax 21st After a great year that seen Halifax just fall short losing to Las Vegas In the finals I think they will be looking to add some more firepower to get over that hump and win a championship! I think due to early teams needing defense or goalies and my personal bias. This guy is a steal as far down as 8 and could easily go higher. That being said I think Halifax will select the Italian left winger Lorenzo Mancini @GioSivo at 6'1" and 184 pounds Mancini joined the Las Vegas Aces late last season playing 24 games logging 2 goals and 4 assists. Mancini and the aces won the championship and Mancini posted another 3 goals and 4 assists during the 16 games! So far Mancini has earned 187 TPE, he will also bring the championship mindset having won in his first year! A great addition for Halifax to head back to the finals 9. Mississauga Hounds Like other teams on this list the Hounds find themselves without a goalie. Fortunately for them they will have a couple to choose from sitting at pick 9. They could go back to whiteknight who played 40 games for them last season. However I don't think they will and I think the Hounds go with 6'8" Komi Kamal @dustywilson22 Kamal has earned 120 TPE so far and has not played any games in the Leauge I think a fresh face in net will be a good thing for Mississauga and a good first step in turning things around for the future ! 10. Halifax 21st Rounding out the top 10 picking again is Halifax! Why not pair Mancini up with Another Italian born player? I think Halifax select Nick Sansoe jr @Tipskid97. Appearing in 36 games for Saskatoon last season this 6'2" 180 pound winger put up 12 goals and 9 assists and during that time has earned 156 TPE. I think adding both Sansoe jr and Mancini will be a great way to add some fire power and continue to be a top contender in the VHLM That wraps up my mock draft for 6-10. Thank you for taking the time to read and good luck to everyone in the draft and their futures! Looking forward to see where everyone goes and how their careers play out (732 words) ( Claiming week of 3/23)

Love their logo and colors as well!!

Thanks big dawg!! HAD To throw a graphic in there

Normally I'm a graphic guy so with some downtime during this long off-season I got bored and decided to switch it up a little and made my first attempt at a media spot and first attempt at a mock draft! 1. Mexico City Kings Having the first and third pick in the S98 VHLM draft is a great spot to be in for Mexico City considering the big hole on their roster. By big hole I mean they literally have 0 defenders on their roster. This draft seems to be top loaded with defensemen. 4 of the top 7 prospects to be exact! I believe the Kings will use this pick to take Tina Hughes! @tinafrombobsburgers. Tina who was just drafted 8th overall to the New York Americans in the VHL draft is a 5'10" 170 pound D man, who last season played 72 games with Miami. Don't let his size or lack of fool you! Hughes ended with 4 goals and 21 assists and a great +/- rating of 48! Tina has racked up 296 tpe showing he is a consistent earner! Good things happen and bad things don't when Tina is on the ice which is why I think this is a great pick to build a D core around in Mexico City! 2. Philadelphia Reapers So this might pretty biased but with the second pick I think Philly goes with Tina's future teammate in New York Ryan Mantzz. Mantzz was drafted to the Americans 6th overall in the VHL draft is a first gen RW who says he plans to have a similar game as last year VHLM standout Pelayo Bolivar! While joining late in the year last season Ryan played 34 games in Miami scoring 2 goals and 5 assists. Not the output he was hoping for but making him hungrier in the off-season. Mantzz also has stated he wants to be a first gen hall of famer and has shown he is eager to earn that TPE racking up 271 so far! This will be a great addition to Phillys roster! 3. Mexico City Kings Back to pick again is Mexico City and I think they stick to the plan of filling the lack of Defensemen on their roster and get another amazing prospect in Titus Cunningham @thadthrasher. Titus will add needed size to the blue line being 6'4" and 225 pounds! A late late addition to last season Miami's roster played 9 games and put up 1 goal and 2 assists while having a +/- rating of 15! Paired up with Hughes I think this will be a lethal pair of Defensemen making Mexico a dangerous team this coming year! Being my first year in this I don't know any of @thadthrasher players but if they are as consistent as Cunningham is who has earned himself 187 TPE so far, this will be a steal at 3 as I believe he has the potential to go 1 or 2. 4. Saskatoon Wild Picking at 4 and 6 is Saskatoon who is in the same boat as Mexico City with not having a defensemen on their roster. It depends how they want to attack this with another great forward Lorenzo Mancini left on the board. I believe they can get both and will be safe and address the D situation first and take the 6' 8" 240 lb Sweden native Krister Von Casar Tzesar. Tzesar has earned himself 172 TPE so far and I believe with his massive frame he will grow into a great D man and be a solid foundation piece in rebuilding Saskatoons Defense! 5. Houston Bulls Rounding out the top 5 the Bulls are without a goalie at the moment. And with a decent drop off between this prospect and the next at the the netminder position I believe Houston will select goalie Yor Bjorven @Rin. Joining late last season his numbers don't jump off the page with a .847 save percentage and 4.42 GAA. I believe a big part of that was due to the rebuild going on in Mississauga. I think he will have a better D core in front of him in Houston! As said before I am new to the Leauge and don't know anyone's past players but it seems to be Bjorven is an active earner with his 161 TPE since joining early February! I think he will grow into a great netminder for Houston down the road! Looking forward to the draft and seeing where all these great talents in the draft pool end up! (761 words)

Didn't know it at the time but the answer was always right there! Can't wait to bring a ship to the big apple

1. Off-season definitely been dragging! But at the same time with it being my first year I just had the VHL draft and now looking forward to the M draft so it makes it a little easier! Also very cool to be in the WJC representing the USA! 2. I did! I thought it was really cool! Super stoked that mantzz and Tina ended up getting drafted to the same team!! 3. Gonna be a little bias here but most definitely! I think they got a good core of guys now and adding BOTH Hughes and Mantzz will help them out later down the road ! 4. Not ideal having the 19th just due to the fact that I think the Miami bunch is going to go very early and won't be available that late! Shows what a great program Miami has going over there! Much respect to @Ricer13!! 5. I'm right handed in everything I do EXCEPT hockey! Left handed there! I'll die on the hill that "left handed" for hockey sticks should really be considered right handed. 6. Most definitely will stay in the locker room. This group was amazing and the reason why I'm so involved in it! Always gonna be Miami at heart

EARLY LIFE Ryan Mantzz was born in February of 2007 in a Wisconsin city along lake Winnebago called Oshkosh. How Ryan fell in love with the game of hockey still does not have a clear answer. His father never played growing up and instead rode bulls, wrestled and played rugby. His mother never played either and was a track star in high school. Around 4 years old Ryan got a pair of ice skates from his grandpa and would take them out every time they would go ice fishing on lake Winnebago. While Ryan enjoyed the fishing, most of his time out there was spent using those ice skates teaching himself how to skate! As Ryan got older his parents signed him up for his youth hockey club. Ryan was always one of the top kids on the youth program with coaches hoping he would continue to put in the effort to grow his skills and become the best he could be. His skating was smooth, his puck control was impressive and he had a competitive drive that set him apart from his peers. His work ethic was also notable, as he was always the first to show up at practice and the last to leave. His parents recognized his dedication and made countless sacrifices to make sure he could attend elite camps and tournaments. All of this hard work and dedication started to catch the eyes of some scouts as he was preparing to enter his freshman year of high school. HIGH SCHOOL CAREER His freshman year Ryan made the varsity hockey team and quickly became one of the standout players. His performance in games was highlighted by his ability to read plays and make crucial passes, as well as his relentless drive on the ice. Ryan finished his freshman year with 35 points in 25 games. His sophomore year is where he started to stand out getting 75 points in 25 games leading the state in scoring, and earning himself all state honors. Along with putting points on the score sheet his leadership skills were also evident, and he was announced team captain by his junior year. In his senior year Ryan led his high school team to the state championships, where he was recognized as one of the top players in the league. His success did not go unnoticed as college and junior hockey scouts began to show interest in him. JUNIOR CAREER After graduating high school Mantzz made the decision to pursue a junior hockey career, aiming to reach the VHL one day. He was drafted in the first round by the Erie Otters of the OHL. In his rookie season with the Otters Ryan made an immediate impact. The transition to junior hockey was tougher than he thought it would be but his maturity and work ethic to get better in the offseason made him stand out. He quickly earned a spot on the top line and his combination of skill, speed, and hockey IQ made him a dangerous scorer in the League. Ryan’s first junior season was filled with highs and lows and he finished with 22 goals and 29 assists in 62 games leading all rookies in goals and points. In his second season he broke out as one of the league's top players. He finished with 34 goals and 45 assists, which landed him a spot in the top 10 in the league for points on the year. Ryan’s ability to control the puck in all three zones and his high hockey IQ made him a player that opposing teams had to focus on. Just like his high school days his leadership was noticed by coaches and teammates, and he was named an alternate captain for the Otters that year. While Mantzz had made a very good name for himself during his time in the OHL he knew the hardest work was still ahead of him as he declared for the S98 VHL draft. POST JUNIORS With the VHL draft in his future Mantzz found himself as a free agent making him eligible to sign with a VHLM team. He decided to sign with Miami late in the year. The jump from juniors to professionals was massive and it showed for Mantzz. Only putting up 2 goals and 5 assists in 34 games something he was not familiar with. Despite the lack of production Mantzz gained lots of knowledge on how to grow as a player in the Leauge due to the great people of the Miami locker room. As his draft day gets closer Mantzz continues to show potential teams what has made him stand out his whole career. His worth ethic and drive to be the best teammate and do what he can to help bring a championship to whatever team is willing to take the chance on him. Word count - 809
